As you are reading this I am probably hanging out in the Lufthansa lounge in the Detroit airport about to board my United flight to Chicago and then flat bed it all the way to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines where I will proceed to spend the rest of my day in that awesome Turkish Airlines lounge everyone has raved about before I board my Turkish Airlines flight at 2 am (gulp!) to land in Tehran airport at 5 am (2nd gulp!).
I plan to keep my blog going with some pre scheduled posts. You will just have to come back here and help my blog’s Alexa rankings lol. Do not expect me to answer comments and emails as I expect the wifi situation to be difficult. I may be posting some pictures in my Twitter account so please follow me there.
If my blog has technical difficulties…we are screwed! Thank you for your prayers!

What I am doing is not crazy. What is crazy is being an Orthodox Jew and traveling to Iran alone back in 2012 while that Ahmadinijad was in power! I would like to share with you this trip report I had bookmarked a long time ago (HT: Dan) at DansDeals. Great videos starting in page 6. Many answered questions, about plane cabins as well.

BTW on my trip to HK, I gave a box of candy from the shops to the flight crew on almost all my flights. I was a little surprised how much they seemed to appreciate it, since they must pass those shops thousands of times. I suppose it is the though that counts, right?

Haha the life of luxury. Sitting on emirates 777-300ER in economy class in a 4 seater row all for myself and will stay here for another 15 hours. Wondered who gets a better good nite sleep 😉
