The blogoshpere has been quiet, which is understandable of course as overdosing on carbs will do that to everyone! Bloggers continued to show off their cleverness and innovation skills in taking it to AMEX with the Small Business $25 credit promotion to the point of even posting pics of lining up all their different AMEX cards. Really guys, really? We here at TBB are so bright that we scheduled a trip to Canada in such an important day and we could not take advantage of our 64 amex cards. Oh well, let’s see if they run the promo again next year! We are kidding about the number 64, relax and hold the insults in the comments. On a second thought, have at it, we could care less. We do love everyone!
Late Sunday evening the online activity reached a fever pitch when Flight Deal sent out tweets with amazingly low fares to Buenos Aires and Santiago. We here at TBB have been at this hopeless hobby for more years than we have fingers! We know a deal when we see one! We highly recommend you bookmark the Flight Deal and, most importantly, follow them on Twitter @TheFlightDeal. Even most importantly, have their tweets come to your cell phone as text messages (PLEASE only do so if you have Unlimited text plan!!). For instructions on how to do this, well, we don’t do spoonfeeding around here, you can figure it out as all of you TBB readers are much smarter:-)
Some great tips from the USA Today “Never Take a Bad Travel Photo Again” Great for newbies and we certainly are here at TBB when it comes to pics. It never amazes us how we can totally ruin some great travel shots again and again!
One of the most amazing trip reports I read was by Rapid Travel Chai and his trip to North Korea. For some reason, I have been fascinated by this closed country. I can not comprehend how strong the cult of personality is and how brainwashed people can become! For comic relief, we here at TBB sometimes surf over to the official North Korean News Agency and laugh at the headlines. You should do it too if you need a laugh! Here is the four part trip report, fascinating stuff!

And a few priceless quotes from Flyertalk:
srdshelly: As you say nobody can prove anything either way, but I think there’s a whole lot more ambiguity and room for difference of opinion in the VR/BB process than in the physics of the earth’s rotation. [we agree]
Delightful exchange:
soccerguy985:MMS is at it again…not sure why he has to dumb it down for everyone…man I don’t like that guy.
MMS: Glad I could make your weekend more enjoyable! Since it was the holiday weekend, I didn’t have time for circle and arrows and pictures, but will add them to future posts. I suspect you may like me even more then!
If you have no idea what we are talking about here, short glossary:
VR=Vanilla Reloads
BB=Bluebird [helps with hits we hear]
MMS=Million Mile Secrets blogger [yes, I link to you! Great job today by the way;-)]
Yes you can google VR and Bluebird cards…
