It appears Chase and Hyatt got tired of paying new Visa cardholders redeem two free nights in ANY Hyatt hotel. Starting June 29, the signing bonus reverts to 40,000 World of Hyatt points. Yes, it is available with my links. You don’t need a big red arrow to find it. CARDTYPE on the top and Chase Bank and scroll. Again 🙂 Update: To sabotage my own conversions again without integrity (lol), here is how you can try to get the same card with the 2 free nights in ANY hotel, plus $50 statement credit, plus 5,000 points after you add authorized user and them making a purchase. So, when your favorite blogger tells you ONLY about the Hyatt card that pays him/her a sales commission and never mentions this better offer…well, he/she cares more about his/her own pockets than you, WAKE UP!

Just because we did not have too many hotel brands out there, IHG Rewards announced a new mid-scale brand. It is so new they have not even given it a name yet lol. It will be $10 to $15 cheaper than Holiday Inn Express…and that’s all you needed to know I am sure.

Looks like the Frequent Traveler University is coming again in November in Chicago. Hey, pay $249 to learn how to travel for free plus travel expenses, what a “bargain”. And preceded by a whole day of EXPO stuff, bunch of travel related booths selling stuff. Many of the bloggers we know will be there. Selling away. You are paying for networking for the most part. I am so over that. I stick with freeee events because I despise being sold to. By wanna be influencers and thought leaders, smh. Intrigued? Google it 🙂

I have been to the Kon-Tiki Museum in Oslo – it is actually very interesting! It is right next to the Fram Museum and the Norwegian Maritime Museum. It is also not too far from the Viking Ship Museum. Each museum takes about half an hour to see and they are part of the Oslo card. We enjoyed all 4 of the museums.
Now, the ABBA museum – that is one that has been on my list to go see! It is the main reason that I want to go to Stockholm.
But, the list is missing the Butter Museum in Cork and the National Leprechaun Museum of Ireland in Dublin.

Yeah…ABBA…whenever I think of them…I always thought seeing them on stage with the Bee Gees would have been a unique spectacle!

Canceled my Hyatt Visa because I dont use it often enough. The free night remained in my account (even after annual fee got refunded). Was able to use the free night successfully at the Hyatt in SF on a layover to Australia. #suckittitans
