We go on a wild pony ride learning how United sticks the knife to elites again, JetBlue gives in & starts on its own road to Spiritization, visit Tibet, cliff-side towns & villages and Fuji, learn why we like to talk but not actually give money away, learn how to deal with our emotions, preach from the pulpit to start saving now, and we go back to the old form in the Blog Buzz section because, frankly, the rage from all this pumping has built up and must be let out!

Frequent Fliers Hunt for Loopholes in New Mile Award Programs – Wall Street Journal’s The Middle Seat Column This is a must read! We just don’t know how all this is going to play out. All I know is the current system is being moved away from…fast and this is not good for us. I do have a WSJ Online account and do hope you can see this…If not please do a google search, I am sure it can be found floating somewhere else. It’s a new dawn folks…and it’s dark…Funniest comment was this: “The detainees at Guantanamo were offered their freedom. The catch? They had to fly out on United. They voted to stay.”
Is there an end to the beatings? Even JetBlue said screw it, we are going to be hogs on fees and reduce legroom. Which makes Southwest the only airline now not charging fees for first bags…Yikes. Maybe I should just stop pretending there is much to cover in this space anymore and just turn to a credit card pumping machine like so many before we all find a new hobby 🙂

All right, lets get into Blog Buzz territory now…Grab your helmets. The crap I see makes me rage inside myself and it is time to let all my frustrations out so I can feel better…You happen to be mentioned here a lot? Sorry maybe it is because I think your blog sucks. Nothing personal, you are free to try harder to get in the two Love and Like lists ya know! But you prefer to pump your readers like they are morons…
Do You Know Which Cards to Use to Maximize Your Category Bonuses? – Million Mile Secrets Clap clap clap. NEW RECORD for “Most credit card links in one blog post”. As soon as I saw the headline I knew this was going to be a doozy. So, what is the number? I counted 46 of them. Forty six credit card links in one blog post. So please give me a break if I mention my credit card tab on Twitter once a week and you get all hot about it. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease! Besides, no one has clicked on a credit card (let along get approved) the past two days. Sigh. 6 comments talking to themselves. One was funny by Doug: “Darius, hit that gym at the fancy hotels you stay at! It sucks when your wife has bigger guns than you ”
Delta Points goes beserk about the latest Delta Points “enhancements” but that does not stop the blog selling the Delta Reserve card…*$%# The next blog post will be about how awesome the airline is. And more credit cards. Unless they are taken away so then they will suddenly stop. Never forget, I am the blogger who pumps more than all the Boarding Area bloggers combined. What in the world…stopped shaking my head eons ago…
The Personal Card That Offers 5 Points Per Dollar Has Doubled its Signup Bonus for a Limited Time – View From The Wing Sell it boy! Sell sell sell! So sad…Could not help but squeeze a few Sapphire and Ink links too. No mention how you can refer others. So sad.
Three credit cards for International Premium Class Travelers – The Points Guy Written by TPG Senior Points & Miles Correspondent Jason Steele. Hey, I thought it was just contributor? Congrats on the promotion Jason! Anyways, you expect three credit cards from the headline right? So, I play a game…and guess before hand to see how many affiliate credit card links were pushed from these “expert” blogs. So…I guessed six, you know, throw in a few more as usual. So, what was the number? 18 baby! Pump It Up! Hey, the Chase Sapphire minimum spend went to $4,000 hello? Bet you posting stuff like this NEVER gets an affiliate link wrong, the rest who cares really…It’s about conversions isn’t it?
Why Now Is the Best Time to Apply for the Chase Freedom Card – Frugal Travel Guy Even the dude who pushes his award consulting services took a break to push the latest card du jour. What can you say about this travesty?
Let Me Catch You Up on Developments in the Travel World… – View From The Suite Ok, this is the customary regular post with links. There are SIX bullets. And guess what? 4 out of the 6 are links TBB featured here YESTERDAY! The other two are about free wifi just one day (November 26…who cares!) and the last one is about the dining experience at PanAm which TBB also featured a link to it months ago. So, dear readers, if you need to catch up on developments in the Travel world just read TBB! Nice encouraging words are nice. Deranged attacks on me are also welcome and laughed at. All I am asking you is for you to show appreciation to blogs you enjoy and do not pump you so much. This pumping just drives me nuts! Sorry….can’t help it. Even my therapist Suzy gave up on me…This TBB pulpit sure helps a lot to deal with this disease…
Save Money on Hotels Using the Travel Pony App – Million Referral Secrets You can rest assured if there was no way to get paid for referring others this would never see the light of day. I am just wildly guessing 🙂
Last Chance for $30 off your first Uber Ride – Million Uber Referrals The amount of selling at MMS is reaching wildly phenomenal levels. In a tiny blog “post” the Uber referral links is passed four times. But that is not enough. Had to add two CSPs and two Barclay Arrival links too. Pump the S*it up, WOW. I just had a curry beef noodle soup so I should not be barfing anytime soon…Eeeeek! Pump Hall of Fame is the next destination for sure! So, dangit, stop giving me grief if I send out a link to my tab once a week in a tweet for crying out loud. Have mercy on me! Thanks. Vote with your clicks, resist this sickening wave of pumpinghood!
Five Credit Card Features You Shouldn’t Travel Without – Frugal Travel Guy An article about same old crap. And 10 credit card links. Because, you know, conversions is what matters. Sad…
Ok, going back to Ignore mode…until the rage within flares up that is.
I barely managed to get the minimum spend on new 75k Amex Business Gold Rewards Gold Card because I am too busy with life and somehow I have developed an addiction to keeping up this blog…

I was lucky enough to see that view of Mt. Fuji a few times when I was making multiple business trips to SE Asia connecting via Narita on NW (later DL). When the weather was good, the pilots always seemed to make an effort to mention it.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
The closest I have come to that type of view was Mt. Rainier flying in and out of Seattle!

Maybe you two should spend some time reading. That’s what I did. Now 15 stories from different women, all remarkably the same. And loads more stories about what an asshole he was/is to writers, producers, and just regular people. Sorry, too many stories, too much dirt for me to take BCosby at his word. Remember we all thought Bing Crosby was a nice guy, too. Look how wrong we were about him.
Ramsey, you don’t seem like an asshole. But if the stories ARE true, then joking about drug rape….
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I am too busy reading blogs and producing TBB (among other things) to read stories like this 🙂
All I know is to go by what I know…which may not be much. I do know a person who had been in the Cosby show with him and always spoke fondly of him so spare me if I just don’t believe the allegations…
Maybe they are true, maybe they aren’t.
Lets move on please…

Not really. Just don’t bother with elite status, and you won’t feel beseiged or wronged.

The regular game is not getting any better but yes the hurt is on a slower pace for sure…
Today was a good day: Made $60 on Amazon gift cards for free from Amex, had a free Venti skinny mocca at Starbubucks from Amex, made another $70 in 45 mins “work” by visiting two prominent shopping establishments. Yet, this site brought in $7.83 all day yesterday. Sometimes I wonder of my sanity 🙂
Hope the weather in London is better than here….polar freaking vortex is here already, brrrrrr

I will give vftw at least a little credit. He did mention the freedom referral bonuses in a different post (in that bulleted list you mention)
Weakish but at least he DID mention it, which is more than I can say for any other blogger (that has links)
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Last thing I ‘d do is give…more credit 😉
