I have some changes in the LIKE blog list:
I finally deleted Wait But Why. It just stopped posting. Maybe a life change? Not sure what happened. It is going to happen here one day. And that blog had a lot of support too!
I moved Loyalty Lobby to the bottom of the list as his latest habit to repeat the horrid click bait shit from some blogs in the IGNORE list is just plain pathetic. Don’t look for it to still be on the list in the next update.
I added three to the TRAVEL section but I should probably create a separate section “TRAVEL HACKING” for them, ITA Matrix, Award Mapper and Autoslash. I will add more to this section, sites I use often to fly and stay in hotels for freeeeee.
PF Digest has slowed way down too. Travel Codex used to make it here more often.
The state of miles and points blogs is just super sad right now. Way too many blogging about the same non important stuff, the credit card shilling gets even more desperate and mediocrity along with click bait shit reigns supreme.
No changes in the PERSONAL FINANCE section. The Reformed Broker is pissing me off as each time you visit it makes you click to exit the phucking Oppennheimer ad video, WTF dude! Oppenheimer, really?
Every day I turn down offers for sponsored posts. No way I will allow shit to be published here. Unless they offer me more than two figures and then I may think about it. For a few minutes. Before I say nope. Sad.

ITA Matrix is my go to site to search for airfare first.
Award Mapper is my go to site to search for hotels using points, because actually parting with cash is so so sad.
Autoslash is my go to car rental site. Book one early and then feed the reservation # to Autoslash and then save time as you go on to other things and they do their thing by constantly rechecking and rebooking your res at lower prices.
Legal Nomads has slowed way down too.
One day an intern will split the TRAVEL section and add a TRAVEL HACKING section too.
Most of blog post for tomorrow is in.
I have a “Sunday” post ready to go. It involves camels, charts, a famous NFL Quarterback, demons, Yemen.

I’m an ITA follower too, though Google Flights seems to be what the cool kids are using.
Auto Slash is great. The only negative is I always end up with 4 or 5 active reservations and I have to spend 30 minutes or so cleaning everything up.
Buzz-how about starting an Autoslash site for hotels? You’d make a fortune you could use to keep TBBing. Call it Hotel Slash and you could turn it into a movie. A Freddie movie. Win a Freddie. #dreamon.
I delete the second to last emails from Autoslash, always leaving the latest one in the inbox. I know what you mean.
I know Google Flights has improved. But I still feel more comfortable with ITA Matrix. I am a traditionalist I guess 🙂

TRAVEL CODEX??? on the list. What am I missing, you must be a huge Rocky Horan fan. Because Travel Codex has not bet worth my time since it was called Hack My Trip. Ever since Scott tied to knot the Blog has Jumped The Shark, IMHO. Also points deducted for the pilot wearing Gravatar, only View From The Egotist and his NOT George Cloney Up In the Air Gravatar irks me more. IMHO

Wondering if you have any clue why these bloggers all seem to defend the Mid east carriers on the subsidy issue? Are the ME carriers paying bloggers for positive spin or is it possible there isn’t a one of them with enough financial education to know private companies can’t compete with government subsidized companies?

So little of interest in the points world to bother. A few deals remain and will be milked while they last. The silver lining is fewer and fewer noobs are seen at WM now that BB and Buxx are all but dead (just see the same few, wizened faces plugging away).
With issuers tightening up, blog income must be plummeting, so it’s not all bad news…
