Hey! Ho! Let’s Go! Ramones and the Birth of Punk Exhibit in Queens, NY. “I wanna be sedated” with them tax deadlines and stuff.
Good post about how to be a good customer of the banks and improve your banking relationships. You can’t play if you get shut down lol.
How many people visited every country? Well, there is a bit of controversy what “visit” actually means. You can find the list of them at TheBestTravelled. The owner of this website is actually a Greek, who has been to 193 countries and 1,020 territories. WOW!
You know this hobby is going down the tubes when we have a website doing “Fuel Dumping: The Basics” and about to introduce a Tool…oh oh.
I have come across some really extreme Christians who are Korean. This post “Christianity and Korea” shines some light at this subject.
John Oliver explains why credit reports are the absolute worst. Lol attack!
11 US Best Wireless Airports. You are not going to believe who came first. Oh sorry, bad habits I guess.
I have been mentoring a University of Michigan student on this quirky hobby and I am proud of his achievements. From no credit to over 800 and several trips under his belt. I made sure he has good money habits, is very organized and loves to travel and, most importantly, is willing to invest some time in this to actually learn instead of being spoon fed and likely hurt for life. I could do this to the whole wide world with my blog but there are so many doing it now disguised as “experts”and really pumping credit cards to any human who can get one. I prefer doing it AFTER I make sure the person is really cut out for it. Most are definitely not! Despite what most bloggers say!
18 Warren Buffett quotes that tell you all you need to know about personal finance. Warren gets so much press…and yes, these are very good indeed!
I am surprised the two amazing articles about why we work so hard and the motel voyer dude did not generate many comments. I thought they were both mind blowing!
Tax season you guys…
And I leave you with this…
Please help bloggers you appreciate & make a positive difference in your life by spreading the word about their blogs, emailing and commenting and using their few $ links, thank you!

re: fuel dump. Is nothing sacred anymore? If you needed anymore evidence that bloggers are the death of this hobby there you have it.
ABC says
There once was a dude called Scott that started a blog around this concept, “Hack My Trip”. Turned out it wasn’t a very viable niche.

Ah, the old sacred fuel dump. The miracle as the communion YQ and YR actually turn into Christ’s surcharge-free body and blood. Debased in this modern day by technology!!!

Hey there. Looking over The Best Traveled folks who have completed all of the countries, they are almost without exception men. I only see a couple of names that are for sure women and one is part of a traveling couple who are both listed. Comparing my own stats on The Best Traveled, I have a lot left, but my own rank on there is #273 with 81 UN countries, 98 UN+ countries, 111 TCC countries and 203 UNESCO sites. The world is huge and I just keep on traveling! The more I do, the more I feel like I have left! It’s a cool site and a great way to keep track!
TBBBTheManHimself says
Awesome. I am currently ranked 1,345,589…I can only go up from here, watch out! 🙂

I had skimmed the motel voyeur previously. Some interesting stuff in there, but fundamentally there was more navel-gazing than sex-gazing.
Nice to know it is possible to find your passion in this world, though.
As for why we work hard — I feel this hobby requires a little too much non-work time and attention to have all that much crossover with the exact demographic RA is talking about. If anything, it seems to attract dropouts who don’t believe in the model RA describes: people who’d rather make money by arbitrage, playing the rules, using the system against itself than by some being kind of highly-integrated work-superhero. If I read it correctly, he says for his ilk, work is a lifestyle–financial, intellectual, social rewards and obligations being inextricable–and I don’t know if you think that applies to you, Buzz; I know many who it does apply to, but I feel bad for them. Although perhaps I should focus on feeling sympathy for myself.
TBBBTheManHimself says
I certainly found aspects of what he was saying that apply to me. Or was it me making excuses? I am not sure. I am learning towards his position though….Deep down, I love everything….and I like to whine about it too…
Thought provoking read for sure. Or you could read about the new Starbucks or Daily GTFoutoftheway Deals instead 🙂

You know the “Hobby” is bad when you see Titans talking about Starbucks gold status. Good lord.

Did you notice lucky’s comment about Citi devaluation?

“They changed the terms of that to update the waiting period to 24 months, rather than 18 months.
That seems like a PERFECTLY REASONABLE CHANGE”
TBBBTheManHimself says
Perfectly reasonable…
Stab me softly please…
Ben & Jerry’s line in Ann Arbor was ridiculous, I passed on it.
Used moocho to get two bigger size ice creams down the street at Ionio’s. That app that just keeps paying, down to just 130 points left #sosad

Gary used to joke about how many hits his Starwood articles got. So, I stuck one of my other site which deals with UK retailer loyalty schemes. He was right – SEO Gold!
Fuel dumps – admittedly as a Brit I haven’t paid much attention to these but I did learn something from that article.
Raffles says
Starbucks, not Starwood obs (as the kids say)

Oh, and here is my top blogging tip for the day. Never mention in a post how hugely successful another post was, because othere people then copy the topic. I am guilty of this but, realistically, what are you to do?!
