ON MY MIND
What is it about Mondays? I notice on Mondays I see most of the heavy hitting credit card assault posts! Most always revolve around the Chase Sapphire and Chase Ink cards. How many freaking times we would be told about the great benefits of these cards? Every time I see a blogger posting for the nth time about the amazing benefits of these cards and serving my eyes the same darn affiliate link I have seen thousands of times…I feel so turned off about it and make a mental note that this is a blogger I would NOT be using his/her affiliate links. Yeah, some bloggers have built up credits to last my lifetime, no my family’s lifetimes (four members). Ever since starting my blog, TBB editorial policy prevents me from using anyone else’s affiliate links. One day I will make a post about whose affiliate links to use. This is one of many potential posts I have mentioned and never get around to actually writing them. I am too busy to get to them….I barely find the time to make my daily updates:-)
Point Breaks list was out. Easiest gimme post for all the bloggers. Yet another list that makes me yawn! This is still the best hotel deal out there; the problem has always been the mediocre to bad collection of hotels available. The few Intercontinentals are booked so fast you may not find any nights for yourself before you have your next meal! Having bloggers encourage readers to book a whole month in a row does not help you know, don’t be so selfish!
MILES/POINTS
As I was typing the paragraph above, I got an email with a comment posted at Pointchaser‘s blog:

Modest Money is a mainstream personal finance blog. Even they saw the light and are now starting a separate credit card affiliate blog titled, conveniently, “Airline Miles Experts“. This should be good for some major laughs! I think my cat just meowed angrily at me and I think he meant “What? They got affiliate links too? Will you ever get yours so you can finally feed some gourmet cat food?”
Mr. Pickles finally anounced the free car rental code after teasing us to death on Twitter. The anouncement probably led to the short death of the code working:-) Not bad Mr. Pickles, not bad. But all I can say is: pfft! Can you top getting a Mercedes for six months and get paid for it? I didn’t think so:-) Check his blog tomorrow how to get a free domestic flight on Delta domestic awards.
New blogger Points Surfer has a nice post about the new Citi Prestige card.

Chase got you by the balls. Now all your friends and family has affiliate links. Best marketing team EVERY!I didn’t know you could fall this much in love with CCs. They should have a FAQ about which card to use. Should I pay my stripper with Chase Sapphire or AmEX Gold Platinum? Or do they take gift cards?? Gary help me out!! I’m new at this game.
I think you should just get all Chase cards. After that go for all the AMEX cards too, you can do it:-)

I can not delete the phucking spam fast enough…One of these days I will get over to Google Analytics to see those numbers. I jsut see the page views every time I log into Blogger. I have a new record today! 1,506 and counting. It explains the spam increase!
