Rooms will also come complete with stained-glass and marble bathrooms, where ceilings illuminated with artwork are lit by a standing candelabra. A rain shower is hidden behind a floor-to-ceiling stained-glass facade.

There will be two new cards available. Helps a lot if you have $1 million parked at Schwab. One more version of that $450 Platinum card. Expect to see A LOT of it if the link pays bloggers and never hear a word by them if not (say Ameriprise out loud!).

I think I have been pretty consistent in my strong dislike for bloggers peppering readers with DIRECT credit card affiliated links every day….hell, every post it appears lately as the target market has been impacted with all the restrictions lately in getting new credit cards and the elimination of many MS techniques. My blog reviews blogs. I speak my mind, tough love baby! If you don’t like it, you can ignore it, see if I care (I don’t!).

TBB is a labor of love and I earn the few clicks my crappy links get and I get to take Mrs. TBB out to treat her to a nice dinner once in a while so she will let me keep doing it because, deep down, I enjoy the hell out of it, even when days get absolutely no clicks when you think you brought your A+ game especially 🙂

At the end of the day, the primary part of the blog mission is to entertain. Primarily myself. So, thanks for all the feedback. Seriously. It keeps me grounded and…inspired to go on even after seeing days that get absolutely no clicks! Ok, those still hurt, I must admit. Because I could be doing other things with my time instead of bringing you this read. Sometimes I think you must be just insane to keep a blog…

I feel better. Love it when I am called a pumper! Yeah, don’t get hit by that link to the “Support me” page you guys, smh. I used to read this dude when he was a joy to read. Then….DIRECT credit card affiliates happened to him too.

    The Anusbang Chinese group has until April 8 to counter offer Marriott’s bid for Starwood.

    Marriott’s bid is mostly stock and the market just does not like this merger. Give it a few more days and the total offer will be even less than what Anusbang offered in the first place!

    I will be surprised if the Chinese do not counter offer with more cash. Cash is King.

    Down with Marriott!

      There is a center for refugees just outside my village in Greece. Full of tents, now up to over 1,200 refugees. My grandparents and many other refugees settled there after they left their homes in Turkey back in 1922 and left with nothing on their backs. I remember as a child my grandparents telling me stories of the good life they had there and how they longed to go back one day. Well, they never did. Now seeing all these refugees settle there is just beyond surreal.

      War sucks.

    Wheretocredit has been around for ages, created by an FTer just look at the thread in travel tools. Yawn. Again a blogger claims to have found it. And TBB gives a HT. Makes me angry 🙂

    So all refugees are supposed to transit greece and head for Germany :p? A good Turkish friend is a son of a Greek migrant who had to go to Izmir in the 1920s. Some bad stories out there.

      Eh?!

      I had honestly never heard of it until someone told me about it. The fact that it became my most read piece last week and got picked up by the Dr and Buzz kind of proves the point that the article was worth writing (and that the author of the tool couldn’t market his way out of a paper bag.)

      I am genuinely unclear what point you are trying to make!

      I was surprised I did not know of it!

      My grandparents had stories I remember as a kid…whenever my grandpa started talking…my grandma would leave the room to cry…as a toddler I could sense…the pain.

      So I am very sympathetic to these people. It’s good to see many ordinary Greeks taking them in and sharing the little they have. Of course you always find some assholes…like all over the world.
