While the insanity about United3411 does not want to die down due to bloggers who will not SFTU about it and move on to more important things that matter…here is, a staff of one, raging in my own crusade against the establishment. Or whatever, that sounded darn good. I think.
This is an excellent reference post on a topic we are all interested in, I bookmarked it. How to fly to Hawaii with Miles (cheapest ways). Milescards.com continues to excel, content wise.
As I am in bookmarking mode…I liked this post for future reference too! Crossing The Border from Jordan to Israel and Visiting Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, & Tel Aviv on a Budget.

An engineer from Spain has designed a sex doll that can respond to a user’s advances. Check out the video. Safe for work. I think. I am telling you, the robots are coming for our jobs first. Then our ladies. Then us. Buy…Gold! No, Buy Coal, yeah that’s it! Just kidding around you guys, relax! Can you imagine a model named Emily? Ok, I go to the corner now…

BLOG BUZZ
This section is for advanced level hobbyists and veteran blog readers & personal rants & stuff
I am getting really tired chronicling the hideous non stop marketing shit floating around he blogosphere. It is starting to affect me….So, lets see if I can dig up some good stuff for you. We are all in this together. We are a team! Hmm , not sure I want any of the Titan bloggers to ever be in my team lol.
Will Banks Tighten? Well, yeah, it’s been happening, sad! Taking our rights to fly for free or for very little. I blame bloggers, hey I am consistent.
New writer at Point me to the Plane , this must be a Boarding Area part of the business plan it appears…I would love to find a writer here writing kick ass material, starting once a month, you know, leave a dollar or two for profit lol. Someone focusing on burning miles/points perhaps. focusing on the educating part, leave the entertaining (and the severe beatings it invites) for moi 🙂 Actually, I am serious, contact me. If you write for a Titan blog, don’t bother, nothing personal. You know, I have no integrity whatsoever lol.
I thought we were going to be done with United and the doc….nope!
One Card at a Time had 14 blog posts…
That was surprising that he beat his Boarding Area neighbor View From The Chase Wing…
The click bait ness of these headlines made me barf several times…Get a life you guys, where was the outrage when ____________ (insert anything…really)? WTF to infinity!
And I leave you with this…You like my Airbnb in Jamaica man?

Am I really first?!
TBBTheDude says
Take that Nick!
And defective bot too!
DML says
Why not?
TBBTheDude says
It’s that shocking feeling of being first while expecting when the page refreshed…to look like a fool?
Must be exciting.
One day I am going to change the posting time and then post first….Maybe do it for a week in a row and reclaim my throne hehe.
The dad! says
My trip report on tbb!! I made the big time. Thanks for all you do.Btw, loved Greece last year!!
Keep up the the great work.
TBBTheDude says
Wow, thanks Dad. I really liked that trip report, lots of helpful info. I placed in the “to travel to” pile…waiting for TPG to buy me out so I can finally start going through it 🙂

Buenos dias.
Good articles. Regarding the prospect of banks tightening, it’ll be interesting to see. I’m wondering what will be the effect of an economic downturn. Do you think banks will tighten, or will they fight harder to chase the fewer high FICO score customers (which includes most churners)? Anyone can enlighten me on what was the case during the 2008 downturn?
TBBTheDude says
It was phucking great! I have said it before….for this hobby to be saved…we need a hard recession to occur. It may sound sick as many innocent people will suffer. But the hobbyists will likely make out well. Chase will relax the 5/24 rule and make it 12/24.
But the good old days are most likely gone for ever, even with a steep recession. Which is unlikely because…thanks Obama.
GringoLoco says
NOT first.
Catching up from spending the first half of Semana Insanity with my pumpkin (thanks Judge Julio). What is Semana Insanity? Well, it’s the latino version of spring break — officially known as Semana Santa (Holy Week for y’all who don’t grock español) whereby all latinos flood the beaches and act a fool in fitting ways to please the death/rebirth/etc of their god-head. [insert roll-eyes HERE] At least, thank Zeus, I no longer have to spend any of it with the ex + her (endless) family.
Small unknown factoid: I was the Club Med body painting CHAMPION on Bora Bora. 30 years ago. Time flies when you’re loco.
I had NO idea of the whole UA3411 mess and just from reading TBB I am both informed and appalled. Perhaps it was good I was having piña coladas and oogling la naturaleza?
Hope this isn’t in the pipeline for an upcoming post but found the Skift article on Accor’s buying spree eye-popping:
https://skift.com/2017/04/13/everything-accorhotels-has-acquired-and-invested-in-over-the-past-year/
Methinks their investment strategy is the MORE complex the better? Or they hired the investment firm of MonkeysRus to throw darts at a wall? SMH
Bigly doings at the FLL meet-up. Major announcement to be made! Y’all come out now, ya hear?

That LeSuck Accor article was already slotted in the next edition of TBB Buzzy post!
Bora Bora body painting champion? Wow, we are not worthy!
Oh yeah the FLL…did not follow up on that reservation #, we are good? I need to finalize it soon. And ideas about meetup location are welcome too.
Thanks.

@Gringo Loco, your seat is saved on the Brooklyn Reality Tour. I managed to figure out who you were. 😉

George and family, Happy Easter. Greek Orthodox Easter and Easter line up this year.

You can’t be #last unless you reply!
Brenton says
I leave for my trip in 2 1/2 weeks, and I realized that at least the flight potion could easily be done with just three cards.
Cathay First to hong kong, stopover, continuing on to dubai, 70k alaska miles
Star alliance from the middle east to the US, 57.5k singapore miles (Swiss and SAS long-haul)
That can be a guest post after I get back if you want.
Bluecat says
Points are increasingly overrated. I did a spring break trip with the family to China for $500/pp (from my “never-any-deals airport” of Portland, Oregon!) and 8 nights in Beijing and Xian. Okay, Beijing was with Marriott points but Xian was just 90$ a night for 3 people and breakfast for all!
The best points are these: $.
Brenton says
I think that’s the direction things are going, but you can still get some pretty outsized values with points and sweet spots. I think probably the single best deal out there with miles is a stopover in hong kong with a free business class flight to the middle east or south africa. Or even paying an extra 10k miles to add Australia or New Zealand.
SB says
Aegean has some ridiculous value if you interpret their rules literally and get creative
TBBTheDude says
@Brenton: Yes, definitely interested for that trip guest post!
@ Bluecat and SB: Yes, definitely still value in this. But the easy scores are getting harder to come by while prices keep going up. Getting to the point where it used to an uncontested layup and now is trying to dunk on a college basketball player…
Yeah bad analogy….you get the drift.
Bluecat says
Business idea for your review…
You remember “milli Vanilli”? Or any of the “boy bands”? They were basically a “pretty facade” to a business idea…
Okay, so we get a group of 20 or 30 something models (think “friends”) who hang out together and….wait for it…collect miles and points and then…here’s the kicker…write about it on a blog! We could have some sexy chick in a low-cut blouse posing next to credit card stands at Staples–all the nerd dudes like me in this hobby could admire the racks. This would be a daily feature, like a page 3 girl from British tabloids. Everyone would go to the blog for the page 3 rack girl and then read the bogus post and click on the credit card links!
I already feel bad for Million Mile Secrets, as this will put them out of business.
For the ladies, we’ll have a “Surfer Dude of the week” column, explaining how he got to Nicaragua or whereever on points for FREEE! (GringoLoco is ghost writer…or actual surfer, if he is tan, young, and blond.)
Okay, then we would have a couple of gay guys talk about gin fizzes, hot nuts, and whatever, so we would have that demographic covered too! Then we’ll need a “mom angle” too.
Finally, a comic strip section, featuring at least one strip called “Inside Ramsey’s Mind”. All TBB readers will turn to the comics first….
Okay, now someone with some motivation: run with my idea!
The group could
Bluecat says
Scratch “The group could”…that must have been a lost thought.
TBBTheDude says
Brilliant!
Screw Emily and her mom….Oh wait, that did not come out right lol.
Job Posting: MODELS needed in the Ann Arbor Area. Oh wait, you can work from anywhere….as long as there are WalMarts and Staples stores nearby!
GringoLoco, former body Bora Bora body painting champion, here is your chance to COME BACK strong man! Think of the hot groupies awaiting!
I bet you someone runs with it and HTs…Alan H wooohoo!
If I did not have a real job, I could make this work…and make it a super parody account at the same time. Entertainment at its finest.
Maybe hire Ford as spokesman, he has relevant experience 🙂

Thank you for your excellent mentorship.
TBBTheDude says
You are very welcome. It is part of the TBB mission to educate!
I could go on and make it more entertaining…but need to finish replying to the other comments 🙂
TBBTheDude says
I could contact the guy and maybe ask for a sex doll to give away…
Oh crap, going back to the corner right now!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the comments…I will respond later today…I hope.
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
When you have a chance to respond, can you please include a poignant, soul-searching 1,000-word piece on how United 3411 has affected you?
ABC says
And let us know which CCs can help in this situation. Does Arrivals travel insurance cover this incidence?
TBBTheDude says
Imaginary TPG reply:
No worries, we got this. A couple of team members are already working on several posts addressing this. Affiliate link marketing team is awaiting the drafts to insert a minimum of 36 links in each post. We are working hard to increase our 2.5 billion pageviews per hour and we keep buying Facebook friends at a rate of 3,500 per 15 minutes. Did you know I am 6.7?
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
Nice work by George’s soccer team here: https://streamable.com/s9p7r
bluecat says
Nice distance on that throw in too.
TBBTheDude says
Every coach should show this clip…as the way NOT to defend, wow!
Nick The Lick says
nick do you ever feel embarrassed kissing up to george from tbb of all people. as if being an adult who calls himself a blogger isn’t bad enough.
TBBTheDude says
Sad yawn
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
You’re going to have to troll harder than that! 1/10
Sad Clown George says
Wake up. Nobody is going to write for you. Nobody is going to give you an offer. You can barely get anyone to click a link no matter how much you beg. Your site is invisible. You don’t entertain. Linking to other writers is not educating. And you will never inspire anyone. You need integrity to do that.
TrollingExcellenceAlliance says
This guy was expelled from our association for plain old hideous trolling. Simply embarrassing. We troll this guy back and find his dumb trolls and use them in our trolling classes as the way NOT to troll.
In our letter kicking him out…we included a list of nearby mental health professionals. Actually, he probably just needs a sex doll.
