We bring you a lap infant award tickets guide, listen to Delta CFO BS, learn about Cuba wi-fi, go to May Day stadium in North Korea, visit a Black Sea underwater museum & more.

A good guide of lap infant award tickets for international travel. Maybe this is a repeat? If yes, don’t worry about it, I am not a robot!
Time to bring the shovel you guys! Delta CFO: Loyalty ‘Took Off When The Airline Switched to a Revenue-Based Model’. The writer interviews credit card salesmen bloggers for expert quotes. Amazingly, same bloggers are selling Delta credit cards as enthusiastically as before!
Keep the shovel, we are on a Delta BS streak you guys! Why Delta Decided to Stop Being the Mean Airline. On the surface, maybe they have. But deep to the core, the airline is run by assholes. I guess I am not going to get that invite to Atlanta HQ anytime soon #notsad.
An updated guide of how to get Internet and wifi in Cuba.
Ok, this is serious. This man is accused of murder. But still, this headline, smh: Man hopes showing his penis to jury will save him from a murder conviction.
Your personal finance fix of the day. Probably not for this audience but maybe your kids! Why you can’t afford a house (Hint: It’s not the avocado toast). Some moronic article blaming millennials for buying too much avocado recently went viral. And just goes to show you that eclectic stuff like what I bring you here goes unnoticed in comparison #notsadjustsaying!
This blog has been on a North Korea streak since its inception. Lets keep the streak alive! Inside the massive May Day stadium.
The Underwater Museum of the Black Sea. Very cool!

There are many ways you can get an Amex Platinum card. Some bloggers will never mention any ways you can get the cards without them getting a sales commission. Some will.
Delta has increased bonuses on their credit cards.
The revenue based tsunami continues. Another one joining it: Malaysian Airline’s Enrich #yikes!
These guys keep pumping content that helps sells credit cards. I don’t. And oh boy does it show!
I am almost done with my Asia summer trip report. At last! I think I will split into two more parts, sorry!
And I leave you with this…

Sorry I dont click on bloggers links.
Brenton says
If you’re getting the card anyway, it’s the best deal, and you appreciate or benefit from the content provided, why not?
SumOfAll says
Its bad business to click on blogger links. No matter who they are.
bluecat says
What is your definition of “bad business”? (You act like that’s a real term.)
Anonymous says
I agree with Sum Of All for the most part. Once the blogger starts trying to make money from links they get greedy. Look at George and his begging. He puts an LOL on the end of it but it isn’t funny. More annoying than anything else.
TBBTheDude says
LOL
Brenton says
I’d argue that it’s douche baggery to not click on links from a blogger if they’re: the best bonus offered, you’re getting the card anyway, and the blogger adds some amount of value to your life.
@anonymous – LOL is the author’s sentiment, not instruction to the reader…
SumOfAll says
Who said TBB is “pushing credit cards”? I certainly didnt. Some here need some reading comprehension skills. I dont click on affiliate links. For anyone. No matter who it is. Sorry if some of you dudes get your panties in a wad. I luv TBB but I dont do clicks. Sorry, thats the motto.
SumOfAll says
Bad Business is a real term. Its poor form and an overall bad idea to reward bloggers by clicking on credit card links. Its sends the wrong message that its ok to push CCs. Dont give any business to a blogger. Sorry. I luv me some TBB but I aint clicking links
Brenton says
So you value TBB, but aren’t willing to click a different link that will get you the same end result and also benefit him…
That’s pretty shitty, especially considering I don’t really see any credit card pushing here.
Ryan says
Dude if you think TBB is “pushing credit cards” then you need to get out more

I mean, what can you say? I find all this entertaining, all this reaction my blog gets. It can get you down or you can laugh it off so I decide to laugh it off.
Just imagine the critical commenters’ reaction if I started doing REAL pumping like the Titans…they will go beserk woohoo.
Or they have no clue about the economics of this blogging thing. For the record, page views mean nothing to this blog. Many I have met still think blogs make all this money from advertising so they feel (wrongly) that by reading and commenting they are rewarding the blogger. Well, a thanks for the content once in a while would be nice, this blog is not making me rich…
I think Brenton nails it.
I absolutely DESPISE whining to get readers to hit the monthly minimum quota. Maybe I should double up my time on monetizing from 1% to 2%…
Whatever

Remembers those fantastic Ethiopian airlines business class ticket from BKK to Toronto for only 7-800USD that the airline cancelled?
Well there’s an apparent idiot (Live and let’s fly) on boarding area that decided to go all the way to BKK to change the airline’s mind while leaving his wife and young kid at home alone in LA. Of course the airline denies him boarding the plane. How desperate can you get in the blog space?
TBBTheDude says
Yeah, been watching that in Feedly…Smh to obliviion…This guy is a wanna be Gary. Especially when he tries to post first about ridiculous onboard incidents and make click batiy headlines out of them…
WTF to infinity with some bloggers out there, wow!
In the meantime, Ford’s CEO is out. Shocking. But not as shocking. But the new guy is…something, very radical move. Hope it works out 🙂

Many years ago I got hooked on the whole “lattes” bit about fixing my budget. Soon realized it was a foolish pursuit compared to the larger areas I should have been focusing on. I agree it’s not the small stuff that’s killing your budget most of the time. However those lattes and extra junk do not help my fat belly so I do try and watch the “treats” for caloric budgeting…I usually FAIL but I’m in theory trying!
bluecat says
I hear you about the lattes–especially about the adding to the waist—but I think they *do* effect the pocketbook…and in a different way than most people think.
It’s my belief that, if you spend your extras on a coffee at Starbucks, you probably *also* spend a few dollars eating out at Subway/Panera/etc. instead of making yourself a sandwich. You probably also go for the name brand over the generic. Etc. The issue is more about taking something that could be considered a treat (a “nice to have”) and making it an everyday occurrence (a “must have”). And that is the slippery slope to spending too much.
Just my 2 cents.
Ryan says
You do have a point – hadn’t thought of the ripple effect but it does happen. Maybe the mindset change needs to be throughout one’s lifestyle to really get maximum effect.
DiffPaul says
Well said, Bluecat. I’d add that once someone becomes accustomed to the latte/panera lifestyle, then they need even more expensive “treats”.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You all make valid points.
We are all different.
Many of our spending habits are ingrained in us from our childhood. But we can and do evolve. But those bedrock values are always…there!
The key point, which many of you expanded from, was simply this: It is ridiculous to focus on a habit that does not cost much, over the much bigger picture. Such as developing marketable skills and earning more. Or, in spending less, focusing on the REAL culprits: housing and transportation!
That’s all.
PedroNY says
Great post today, thank you, as always. The North Korea link/pictures are always exciting to see, thank you for continuing that, I always end up clicking on those links.
Cheers,
PedroNY

To all:
Life just threw a really bad curve…Relative is in the hospital down the street. Found a hole in his heart, 3 separate strokes, in coma. Looking really bad. Younger than me, three young kids. And you think you got problems?
To the trolls: Thanks for reading. You are very welcome for the entertainment, education, and inspiration my blog brings you.
Ryan says
Wow sorry to hear that George. Prayers for him and the family.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Bad shape. Reminded me of my dad’s ordeal back in 2009. Showing some movement. Will wake up at some point. We hope. No idea in what shape. This is going to be very rough, his kids idolize him. Strong as a horse, never had any issues. Played football since Middle School all the way to college (walkon). And never diagnosed his heart defect. Mind boggling.
TBBTheDude says
I forgot to say I may not get to the comments today, sorry! But if I do…if I spent all that time whining and pumping 🙂
I have enough material but may unleash the next part of the Asia summer trip report tomorrow. Depends on what happens at the hospital…and if we host the spouse and the 3 little ones tonight in our home.

Dear travelbloggerbuzz,
A colleague of mine referred me to your site and I would like to ask if you do paid posts. AVG has an antivirus mobile application available for Android that which we would like to promote using this technique. Please get back to me when you get a chance, I hope we can team up sometime soon.
I deleted. Because I have no integrity. LOL
John says
Someone without integrity doesn’t need to sell out 100% of the time btw. Begging for clicks on a blog that criticizes other blogs for doing the same thing is strange. More strange that you are deaf to all criticism about it.
John says
Dozen angry responses about cards and one response about your relative btw. Sums up the broad sense of anger your readers have here. Mad about anything and everything logical or not. Sorry about your family member george.
TBBTheDude says
Talking to yourself?
Can I sell out 1% of the time? Because that is the amount of time overall I spend on monetizing!
Thank the Lord not everyone here thinks like you.
You know what is strange? You. For believing that someone is insane enough to spend hours on a blog for free. To bring you a quality read every freaking day. See the dwindling list of the TBB Blogs I Like? It is because they gave up! I have not given up yet because, well, like Ingy said, I am insane. Because only an insane person would spend hours a day on this. For almost 5 years….Wow, that is phucking insane indeed!
So, if I get a membership way to monetize I can count on your support right? Or, let me guess, you will accuse me for begging for clicks on my credit cards and the memberships, right?
You have been bent on this angle for years here. You will not change. And you are always so negative. Be like PedroNY, it may brighten the outlook of your life man.
We are not mad here. We are mad sometimes about REAL pumping machines selling “expertise” for plastic bank products. That’s all. You sound mad.
By the way, nobody clicked, fyi. I totally suck in this begging/selling thing…
Yeah, it is insane waking up at 5 am and going through Feedly unread blogs…for ungrateful readers like you.
Enjoy the blog content. If you are not enjoying it and you spend so much time here, you are as insane as me. Lol.
At least we agree on Trump. Who had a 30 day plan to defeat ISIS. Bwahahahaahaha
