6 year blog anniversary today #mindblown TBBon!
In case you missed my Sunday Best of Web post, here it is again: Culture War, Mass Shooting Survivors, Good Guy With Gun, Norwegian Commandos, Orbiting Earth. Warning: Read it if you are interested in important things, I just don’t do the awful clickbaiting shit other blogs do!
Citi is revamping the premium Prestige card. Here are all the changes. Things that stand out to me: 5x on Dining, 4th night free now capped at just two times per year (thank the bloggers for killing it) and, most importantly, now these hotel bookings must take place in the portal which effectively kills this thing (no points, no elite upgrades). Make no mistake, bloggers will enthusiastically sell this baby for the fat sales commission as usual. You can wait to apply for it with my links if you are intent on getting it. I won’t. Citi just never did the premium cards right imho. Lets move on.
All you needed to know about the new Tokyo Tsukiji market. Got news for you…it is NOT the same!
This is really funny, excellent parenting. Thanks to PFD Nick for sending it in. What a dad, lol!
I have posted here before about the crazy guy who started the insane Barkley Marathons. Well, he is not done yet. He now started an even more insane endurance event, the Big’s Backyard Ultra.
Gary Cantrell clanged a bell at 6:40 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, signaling 70 runners to jog off into the woods on his farm in Tennessee. They had an hour to complete a 4.1667-mile loop trail. Easy. Most of the group finished with 15 minutes to spare. The bell clanged again at 7:40 a.m., and they ran it again. And at 8:40 a.m., and 9:40 a.m., and every hour after that until, one by one, they quit. There was no known finish line. The race went on, day and night, until the bell clanged and only one runner answered.
There are many financial advisors out there who prey on victims, do NOT become one. It is pretty much the same as these bloggers who never saw a credit card with a sales commission they did not like. I despise salesmen of financial products, greed blinds them. Yeah, be responsible and all that, sure. Or just avoid them in the first place! Seven Deadly Sins. Must read, do not buy this shit!
Lets take a trip back in the brutal Liberian civil war that took place between 1989 and 2003. This photo below shows the true insanity of it. Actually, this guy recently ran for office there! And there was a recent peaceful transfer of power. The country has a long way to go but they appear to be in the right path. I would love to post a trip report from someone who traveled there recently! #hint
I have written before here how Greece is a giant delusional clusterphuck. It is hard for anyone to imagine it. One big reason it has come to this sorry state…it is the huge influence of the Greek Orthodox church. I call them the Christian Taliban. A bunch of corrupt, self-serving, backwards looking, full of racist and nationalist views, keeping the flock poisoned from expanding their mind. And Greece still has a lot of them! How about #1? That is 87.7 priests per 100,000 people…how sad is that!
If you are into JetBlue points: JetBlue Points Pooling Now Valid For Non-Family Members Of Any Age.
This was one of the slowest weekends ever in the miles and points world, wow! So many unimportant “news” that many bloggers keep posting about, ridiculous clickbait shit they keep backlinking to/from each other.
I finally saw another movie. Overlord. I enjoyed it. The opening scene is terrifying. Got a bit too weird in the end but, like I said, I enjoyed it.
Thanks to the reader who got the Southwest card, you were #3 this month! And to the reader who committed to a monthly donation, thank you. And also thanks to the reader for using my Airbnb referral link.
Guys, today is my 6th year anniversary blogging here! It’s been a hell of a run! But not in my bank account lol. That’s okay, I keep going. Until I lose them plastic links…we reevaluate/evolve then. Enjoy it while it lasts! TBBon 🙂

The fertility decline will make intergenerational transfer programs most mirthful. Why have kids of your own when other’s kids will support you?

Thanks.
And congrats too…no errors today #wow!
No comment at all how your Prez offended everyone by staying in his hotel tweeting away instead of joining every other leader in the rain honoring those veteran heroes who fell 100 years ago, hey? What’s the excuse this time?
Sam says
Ramsey-
Your hero, our President, skipped going to Aisne Marne American Cemetary in France Saturday because it was raining. There are over 2,000 graves of men who died defending our freedom there, and a plaque with the names of another 1,000 men who died whose remains were not found.
Trump’s refusal to carry out his duties as President is a disgrace. This isn’t political-there’s folks I disagree with who I respect for their thoughtful opinions.
We should be very scared of someone who boasts of supporting the military while failing to even act out his role as a symbol of our country. And we should be even more scared that there are people who are buying this bullshit and who think this is just fine with them.
So yuk it up all you want, sport.

TRUMP FAN RAMSEY ..... USA Patriot......USA! USA! USA! USA! says
Sam my Dad was shot up pretty good at The Battle of the Bulge. I have followed his footsteps from the Beaches in Normandy to his Hospital time post war in Wiesbaden and know the area well.
If you think that Trump missing that causes me any distress, you are mistaken. I find it ironic that the French of all people are upset about the USA having a Nationalistic stance. They invented it.
I have hated the French and their view of America since Charles De Gualle. He should of never been allowed by Eisenhower to liberate Paris. The Americans and the Brits spilled their blood fighting the Gerrys while the French Army offered about as much resistance as the Greeks.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Why are you turning this away the French? How about the US President pay his respects to the fallen? WTF is wrong with you man, unbelievable!
I can assure you I won’t be declaring bankruptcy. And you claim you were made by rich by crazy entertainer Jim Cramer. Okay…we can claim anything we want online you know…
I appreciate you loving my blog though. You just went on a string of comments…that are more than what FTG gets in months lol.
Be careful with JimCramer, he is making money off of you and other suckers.

Received a threatening email by “Copytrack” asking 4 payment for using an image without licensing it or they will sue me….It was bound to happen…What do I do???

Just pay them with your Capital One Blog Avenger card! Cap1 Cap1 Cap1
You know them, the chumps that pull from four credit reporting agencies before giving you one of their cards with a $500 limit… it’s Pump Pump Pump day today.
Also, Trumps aircraft wasn’t allowed to fly due to weather and the Secret Service wouldn’t allow the drive due to the huge pain in the ass security changes.

Here’s a Presidential Veterans Day salute worth reading:
“To all our veterans and your families: thank you. There’s no tribute that can truly match the magnitude of your service and sacrifice. But all of us can do our best to live up to the American values of service, responsibility, generosity, and citizenship that you helped defend.”
