9 Simple Statements That Will Make You Think Differently About the World. Very insightful post at The Motley Fool. Step one in your search for happiness is to continually work toward having control of your schedule.”

25 Incredible Hikes to Take in Your Lifetime
Project Apollo Archive recently released 9,200 high-resolution images from missions to the moon. Amazing!
I attended a swanky wedding over the weekend. Where each guest was given a butterfly to release after vows were exchanged. Apparently, the butterflies were imported by some exotic country, perhaps the Maldives lol. Flower arrangements alone on the tables cost $8,000. I could not help but think all this money could have been saved for an amazing trip…or several. The groom is a popular actor (or so were told) in a Chinese TV series.
And I leave you with this…

Yes, they were alive! They must have delivered them recently I guess…

Second. USA Today article is weak on content. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Agree with your assessment on the UT article….I just find it noteworthy these “tools” now make it to this mainstream publication!
And thanks!

I was wondering about that “jeffsetter” blog before.
Seems extremely boring, not points and not real travel, kind of like a lame version of
“look at me now, I’m cool and I’m in xxx” blog.
Still the guy seems to make his living thanks to this site.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
They travel full time now. Think he made his money in IT before they took off!

First — and LAST — time I will visit the Jeffsetter site. What a narcissist! Just want to punch the guy!

The flexible schedule quote (and in depth article) really hits home. Though I could earn more if I looked elsewhere, my pay is decent even if the benefit package is a joke. Why do I stay? It’s an easy 10 minute commute, and although we have busy times of the year, overall I don’t work a lot of hours past 40 and I’m in a director position. For the most part I work a standard working stiff schedule, but if I need to arrive late or leave a little early, I can and it’s no big deal. Plus, I might get a call on my cell phone while away from the office once or twice a year. On vacation? I can completely unplug. That my friends is gold.

Yeah, great points!

Thanks Buzz.
About the jetsetter, who listens to a podcast on a computer anyway ? Just wondering.
Yeah that pumping the CSP, the best cc out there ? ? ? ๐ฎ
;o
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I don’t listen to podcasts, who has the time? ๐
If you don’t have the CSP do you really exist? lol

I fall asleep to saverocity podcast. Sometimes Terry Gross’ sexy voice does the trick. I used to enjoy moanmyIP but it was hard to put that on a loop.

Thanks for the mention George. Please everyone, go to my post and share my tweet (you know I’m a shameless plugger, right?) or tweet them @FlyANA_official and tell them that a 2-week notice is never OK. ANA has one of the best programs in the world, let’s make it harder for them to kill it. Come on, it’s just 20 seconds of your life.
On a more pleasant note, there are 2 “firsts” in my life tomorrow.
1. Emirates F
2. A380
Is it normal for an old dude to be excited about going for a long ride in a metal tube? Shaking my head at myself… ๐
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You Emirates F Titan you? Waiting for the obligatory pic in the shower, please keep it clean lol.

The FFP has set their plan and is going ahead with it. Some fake/astroturfed murrican shitstorm is not going to change that, you’re not their core audience :p
andy shuman says
What I actually said, it’s always about the next deval, and then another one after that, and if everyone keeps their mouth shut, next time they’ll give you 7 days notice, and after that no notice at all. When enough people speak up there is a chance they’ll listen. When no one does, they don’t give a shit.
And I’m not going to guess or google what murrican is. Spare me.

Every time a deal is shut down I am more and more happy I got into the whole reselling angle. Soon it will be the only game in town.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Reselling scares me…the time involved and the potential “self burn” from just one deal not going according to plan that can negate all gains before it. No doubt it can work for some and the more you do the better you get, you know what I mean. Good luck! I think The Hobby is reaching some higher density levels and the antennas of the big corporations/banks are more in tune and quicker to react against our kind #boo

You need to remember that TPG and his “staff” are employees of Bankrate.com. This is why csp selling is sooooo out in front of anything the site says…………..
