Back on June 16, 2016, in this post, I featured an interesting interview by the Onefinestay CEO who had just sold out to Accor. At the time, and I quote, I said: “The guy sold out to giant Accor Hotels. And apparently he is left in charge to do as he pleases as the founder, blah blah blah…they all say that until one day they are gone and off to the next startup.” Well, well. I am not an expert you guys and I don’t pretend to be one or paste it all over my bio and such. I just have some pretty good judgment and experience. Soooooo, guess what? He has left the company less than 3 months later lol. So much BS talk these days!

Not sure I like the last piece of advice to talk to your financial planner at your bank or employer. All I have to say about that is do your homework. Odds are their advice, especially at the Bank, is more tailored to serve the interests of the bank than you.

I’m loving all of this! I posted that I was unfollowing Kelly, Schlappig and Leff today, and got so much great info and so many new cool places to read. I’m in bad shape for the hobby, but give me time, I’ll get there. Meantime it’s economy to Paris next month (AA, AF, DL) for my second trip across the Atlantic. One day it will be Business or better! $$ discipline is very important for this hobby! I am teaching son the ropes after way too many trips under his belt with my miles. I told him if he ever pays a cent of interest to a bank on credit cards he is no longer my son, we are done 🙂
