It has been a long time since I have done a TBB giveaway here! Since I got a few things for freeee, I am going to give them away to one of you loyal readers.
TBB Blog Mission: To Entertain. Educate. Inspire. In That Order!
Support TBB by applying for CREDIT CARDS, shopping with our AMAZON AFFILIATE LINK & clicking our REFERRAL LINKS
I want to do more giveaways here as they can be fun. But I want to make them meaningful and worth of our time. I don’t want to be entering giveaways for Southwest drink coupons, Lufthansa First Class ducks or overly time restrictive coupons, etc. And I want to mimimize my time making it all happen, from the initial post, keeping track of entries and mailing out the prizes. I am always open to ideas of course.
So, let’s s do this. Straight from my basement lol!
The prizes are:
One $150 Visa Gift Card
A Lexar 64GB Jumpdrive S75 USB 3.0
I got the first one from doing a short phone interview by an Intuit product manager and the second one from buying HP Toner at Office Depot with my cherished Ink Plus credit card of course, 5x baby!
Here are the rules:
- You must leave a comment here with your email address (only visible to me)
- You must be an email subscriber
- In your comment, tell me something you like about my blog and you want to see more or something you can’t stand and do not care about at all
- Deadline to enter: Friday at midnight EST April 13, 2018
You can subscribe to TBB below, winners only!
The email address you enter in your comment (only visible to me) willย be used to confirm you are an email list subscriber ONLY. It will not be used in any other way, shape or form. PERIOD. I use Mailchimp for the email list and it sends automatically the blog posts that appear here the previous day, always at 8 am EST. I used to pay $10 per month, now it is $15 per month as it just crossed 500 and I want to get full value out of it.
I will come back here and give a number to each comment and then pick one by using the Random Number Generator. Winner will be contacted via email and you have 48 hours to respond or I will do it again until the winner accepts.
I would love to get any stuff you do not care about and want to donate to give away in my blog. But please make them meaningful. No lounge passes expiring next week or next month. No bank coupons we could get in reddit or elsewhere. And, for Pete’s sake (who is Pete?), no Lufthansa First Class ducks!
In case you missed the announcement, the credit card links are back if you care to support my blog and know what you are doing and you were going to get them anyway. If you are a newbie, please read this blog post first! You can be FIRST this month before Mrs. TBB gets a CSP card ๐
Sunday TBB Best of Web will be here tomorrow. Easter Day for us, holy day. I hope I control myself eating lamb…
And I leave you with this…

Maybe the terms are too onerous? The prizes not worthy enough? You are all sleeping?
This could be the last giveaway ever…
Hey, look at it this way, your chances to win are the BEST here lol.

the GOLD!!!!!!!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I knew you can do it!!!
How does it feel? ๐
Mark R. says
I love the unusual articles you provide links to, and I hate the stupid things at the end of each day’s post.
john says
George has turned me on to some amazing other bloggers, good CC ideas, intelligent articles outside of the Game, and funny photos.
The thing I cant stand about bloggers is when they brag about this amazing trip for Xx miles ( place in 20 links to cards they used) and then all they show are pictures of their brand of champagne, or the toilet on the plane or other nonsense photos.
Scott at Travel Codex ran an excellent post of an Italy trip where he broke down his thinking on using miles or cash for his flights/hotels. He not only wrote how many points each hotel cost him but what program and strategy he used to secure the reservations.
I find a rare blogger who shows his thinking but when they do you learn someone from process. As a former Teacher, I appreciate this learning model.
Of course, unless you never seen a bottle of Krug.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks to both. Sorry Mark R. but it appears the funny pic/gif to send readers on their way at every post is a winner and it is staying. If you do not like the one tomorrow I don’t know what to say. I am willing to bet some Delta Skymiles you will like it ๐
The blog closest to what you are looking for is Milenomics. One of these days they will change the “Brandon Asks” tagline to it #hint. I got your message, I will try. But this whole blog started as a curating type, blog reviewer space type of thingie. My friend Dave’s idea was to have a tagline “I waste all this time reading blogs so you don’t have to waste yours”…You get the idea. In a way, it is still like that around here…If I only got the 317 blogs under 200 maybe I will have time to do what you want and maybe, long shot, continue my Iran trip report from two years ago lol.
Thanks both for taking the time to comment.
john says
We sleep when we are dead, there are too many trips to plan, FF/BC flights to book, schemes to hatch, angles to work, credit card companies to squeeze to match offers and hotels to shake down for suites and upgrades we don’t deserve in this game to waste time sleeping..
Real Men Don’t Sleep while the going is good, and they Don’t whine when things change!
I call it The Game not the Hobby because in a games the rules change and strong adapt. A Hobby is too wussy a word. Make a great board game.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I like The Game better than the moronic The Hobby. But this game is not what is used to be…we can adapt but at some point we are better off with another hobby, ooops, game I mean. I will let you all know how basket weaving goes hehe.
Natasha says
I love the way you rally against the titan bloggers. I also love the articles that have amazing travel photos. I also love that you call our president out on his bullshat. By the way, Banff was epic. Thanks so much for your trip report which led me to travel there.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Great to hear you liked Banff! I hope it was not too cold.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I am going to call out bloggers less in the body of the blog. I mean, most readers don’t learn anything new and it is so clear it annoys readers. It was eye-opening to read the comments. Plus, my wife thinks me being negative for so long is not me. But I must admit she is the most positive person I ever met…so there ๐
Fannie says
Love the unbiased travel advice. Enjoy sharing the photos with my husband, and unlike Mark, I love the stupid things at the end of each post!!!!!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to comment!
Wigand says
Just one follow-up to my previous โcomplaintโ for a single occurrence with very tiny letters compared to the โstandardโ letter size which I also mentioned as being to small for the elder population with reading glasses.
With the todayโs newsletter the letter size increased to a level which I would say is okay now for the elder population with reading glasses.
And I did not change anything in the settings of my iPad.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the follow up! I did not change anything either in my end too. I think sometimes da internet does funny things. Or maybe it is Russian bots again ๐
Are you entering the giveaway?
Wigand says
I will not enter the giveaway because I cannot use these visa gift cards here and I have already plenty of these small storing devices.
john says
Since I got the gold today, I am going for the prizes ๐
The things I love about the blog and you George is that you are a straight shooter, telling it like it is with no bs and all with a wonderful self deprecating sense of humor. I love the list of blogs you like, love, and toss to the side. I learn from the financial advice of articles you link.
What I wish the blog did better: When you take a trip, let newbies and others into you thinking on what airline partner worked best for the amount of flight and miles used; how did you seure your hotel reservation with which program and miles and why? A trip breakdown around knowledge and strategy that is the Gold Standard.
I love the blog and like when you give a shout out/link to other bloggers with always interesting, and at times funny content.
But since you asked for honesty in your instructions. I feel you spend too much time compaining about “the titans” and the harm they do with their salesmenship. At times, it takes away some of the quality and fun in reading. You make your point once is good and we get it, post a disclaimer in a box or something to keep it for others to see. However, too many times talking and railing begins to sound like “sour grapes”
I am hoping you take it in the spirit it was written. This is the kind of feedback I am better at doing face-to-face. I hope my writing is easily decipher
I hope I dont lose my God Status over this post ๐
TravelBloggerBuzz says
John, it is one entry per person in the giveaway ๐
Thanks for the pointers again. The whining came through loud and clear, I need to shut up, it is getting very old. With me too, I am tired of it. I was doing it more to let newbies know because no one else does (as they would rather kiss behinds, do interviews involving mother in laws, etc.).
I’ll try the rest you said but time limitations and lack of interns does not make it too promising to happen here…
God or Golden…or Both? lol
john says
LOL, it was Gold Status..and I thought that was only 1 entry?
Anyway, it is a great blog
Brenton says
More trip reports!
I know they’re hard to come by, but I also enjoy new travel blogs written by people with enough dignity not to do Friday interviews where they tell me the best way to earn miles is with credit card signups…
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Trip reports suck the life out of me man! I think it has to do with my perfectionist super controlling genes I have or something haha.
Loved that second sentence ๐ The only way I do a Friday interview is to help a charity. Wounded Warriors anyone? Bwahahaha.
Thanks.
Dml says
The two pizzas for the price of two was great!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I need to do better for Mark R. Tomorrow is the one for him, to make him laugh!
Entering the giveaway right?
GetToThePoints says
Blogs on how to track deals and cards would be helpful
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Are you being sarcastic or serious?
I will only post about must get/do deals here. Most are not worthy and an excuse to pump affiliate links.
If you need to know about travel rewards credit cards…readers can ask. Straight shooting advice. Not driven about what will enhance my pocket. My middle name is Fiduciary. It is not but I have a point to make ๐
Spencer F says
I really like that youโre willing to call out the bad practices of some of the Titans of the community. It does seem to descend into โsour grapesโ at times, but for the most part it seems like warranted criticism to me.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Yes…but maybe after 5.5 years of doing it it is time to move on and be more positive. I feel funny typing that haha.
At the end of the day, other than Rene going weekends only, not sure I have accomplished anything in the blog business space. They are all going all out desperately targeting newbies non stop and faking excitement about how awesome is to travel for freeee
Ryan says
I like the photos, unique stories and honest advice!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thank you, you are in!
Jarrett Kealey says
Love the ability to go to one website and be able to catch up on important travel news (without the filler)!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
The origins of the blog was to review blogs and bring you the best with my own filter and emphasizing entertainment/education/inspiration. Never strayed from the mission. Does not pay much but darn it I sure enjoy it!
Thank you.
Neil says
Unlike Mark R I LOVE the funny clips you post at the end of each post. Do not under any circumstances stop doing that. I dislike the posts with photoshopped artsy photos (Lake Baikal comes to mind).
Moan less about the state of the game. Yes, there were far more clear wins in the past (churning, MS, the IHG free night etc) but I take satisfaction in knowing we are are doing so much better than people who pay no attention to points/miles etc.
And stop mentioning Ingy. There hasnโt been one new thing in the exchanges between the two of you since the initial exchanges years ago. Waste of time, waste of electrons (electrons you ask? Iโve been fascinated by the question of whether my empty kindle weighs less than my kindle when it is full of books, and apparently there is indeed a nanodifference).
Happy Easter! 7 hours until I can ditch the last box of matzah from my house and faceplant into a bowl of pasta.
Brenton says
It’s really more like a billionth of a nanogram… ๐
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks Neil, I appreciate the feedback.
There will be a lot less moaning, that has come loud and clear.
I need to come to terms with the realization Ingy has abandoned me. In a way, his tirades kept me going because I enjoyed reading them and lol in my basement ๐
tiffany says
i like it when you link to trip reports for obscure destinations.
the repetitive bashing of credit card pushers gets old though.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Message received, thank you!
Scott Gerhard says
George,
I enjoy almost everything. You show me some articles I wouldn’t otherwise see…I really like the occasional infographics too!!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thank you!
Heads up: Another infographic coming at you tomorrow Sunday!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Quick response before I take my girls out to lunch as this is the first day in a very long time that daughter does not have anything scheduled, hooray!
I will respond to the comments later today.
I have scheduled the TBB Best of Web links for tomorrow. It will be AWESOME. Take a wild trip, have some positive planet news (with facts!), learn about conspiracies and the US Federal budget and an amazing article on what damage financial salesmen can inflict on consumers who happen to trust them…
What is becoming clear from all the comments so far is two things right off the bat:
1)The bashing of other blogs/bloggers must stop, it is tiring. And I am tired of it too. It will stop in the BODY of the blog ๐
2) The funny pic/gif is staying, sorry Mark R.! Tomorrow’s one is awesome. I guarantee it!
I thank you all for taking the time to comment and put your name in the drawing.
Oh, the winner will get both! Just like you are always encouraged to get both travel rewards credit cards in your favorite blogs….oopsie, I did it again hehe.
I may even get started on Monday’s post today…Oh, those darn trip reports will be my nemesis…sucking my life out…maybe I try to catch up on another Iran day before 2019 rolls in lol.
P T says
I feel lucky to have found your blog and delighted to see the world through your lens.
I look forward to the funny things you post at the end (thought I better weigh in on that). Most of the articles you link to I would never have found on my own. The ones of particular interest are the financial and economic ones. The graphs/pictorials you include are helpful.
Like Tiffany, I enjoy your trip reviews of unusual spots. To me Thessaloniki was out of the ordinary and helped me plan my trip.
While I agree with your sentiments about the Titans, sometimes the repetition is too much.
Keep up the good work on your blog!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate the feedback.
I hear you!
Carl says
George, I like that when I had a question, I emailed you and you answered. Not some intern. You provide humor and pathos via your links and though the bashing can be a bit much, I do laugh at it. Best blog I get regular and I *always* read through the whole thing. Keep up the great work!
Maybe lay of the Ingy stuff a bit? That’s about all I would drop. I’d love to hear more of how you ended up moving to the USA sometime though!
Carl says
Oops…. George, I screwed up the email part of the directions. Can you fix it?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You caught me just as I was heading out. The email you had in the body of the comment no longer shows. Did you want that one or the one you list as you comment? In case the Random Number Generator picks you…did you want the one starting with a p or c?
But I miss Ingy so much ๐ #gotit
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the very kind words. One day I will post about how I got here. It was so long ago. I was an exchange student in my senior year in high school. And I still can not believe what happened next! ๐
Michael says
I value your site highly because it opened my eyes about most other bloggers. I value your analysis of credit cards, your trip reports with your family and your list of other bloggers that are credible. I especially enjoy your advanced section you have had in the past and the photos and links to destinations that inspire me with new vacation ideas. I really hope you find a way to continue to site because you are a rare breath of fresh air. Lastly, please continue to end all emails with the hilarious meme’s you have. Always makes me laugh!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Wow, thanks a lot for the kind words.
There are some themes that are developing and great to hear reader feedback. I should do this more often!
Carole says
(TBB has only been hanging out in my feed for a few weeks, so the bashing is still funny to me and my comments won’t be terribly helpful.)
I love that you are upfront about content in the title. And that I can see the gist of everything – with link – in 2 sentences. Cagey posts that make me go to another app make me want to gnaw my arm off. I also love that you call out the fact that all the other bloggers (which I also value, sorry. LOL) are posting the same exact thing. It’s totally sophomoric, but I just want someone to say it. I do get a little annoyed that you are too self-depreciating. So, stop it.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Your comment made my smile.
The reason I kept the blogger bashing (which is well deserved imho) is for readers like YOU! New ones discovering my site and tired of the same old pumpy pieces that are repeated throughout this blog space. Okay, I still enjoy doing that. But most don’t. So no more doing it in the body of the blog ๐
Sam says
Buzz-
I especially like reader Samโs comments. He seems like one smart dude, and he really knows how to pull Ingyโs chain (I mistyped โIngyโ as โUngyโ-should have left it).
I like the LH ducks and would gladly take some. New only please.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Lol, yours made me smile too!
Okay, if I ever win that LH duck I’ll give it to you then. When I visited it…they were gone super fast and I never got a chance to snag even one. My one time in the LH First Class terminal andI failed to grab one. Pathetic if you ask me. Ooops, sorry Carole I did it again. Wait, wasn’t that a song that went like that recently? ๐
Dat says
Lots of curated info all in one spot
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks. This is why the blog was started. And still here after 5.5 years!
Alana says
The links you provide are useful as well as the lovely travel photos! I would love to see more inspiring photos on the blog
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Got it, thank you!
George of the Jungle says
Can someone call Ingy and make sure he’s okay? It’s not like him to disappear for so long.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I know!
Dave, if you are reading this, please reach out. We wish him the best! He is an integral part of TBB…#1 fanatical reader if you ask me ๐
spuz says
Leave town for a few weeks to work outta town and all hell breaks loose. Links disappear, the end is near, links return with sunshine and rainbows….and John has a birthday and gold all in 24 hours. Quite a ride George.
Happy to see the response you’ve received today. I too love the articles and the end of each post. Also like a lot of the other bloggers you have mentioned in the past. Especially love the posts on lesser known places. I would also like to see trip reports from your readers more often. Yes, I’m guilty of not providing any.
It will be interesting to see how you ween yourself off the titan bloggers, I’m looking forward to that as well. I think your blog is much better than that.
Most of all I appreciate the personal touch you have provided in helping me with this hobby/game, it has been invaluable. I only wish I would have started much sooner.
Thank you again George for all you do…
And Happy Birthday John!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thank you for the kind words. I hear you. Wish me luck in that “weening off” the Titan bloggers part…I will probably need it!
Kevin says
I don’t want to win anything, I just like coming to this blog to see actually interesting content, Ingy Trolls, What’s new in Sex and/or Trump Robots, and the lack of “articles” with 17 links to the Chase Greyhound card – the one with a 50 mile sign-up bonus and a travel size bottle of Listerine.
What do I want to see more of? Your moms secret spanikopita recipes, IngyCoin ICO’s and ways to hide my profits from my IngyCoin transactions from the wife who will insist that we use that money to travel for free to Hawaii in faded Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Best.Comment.Today.
I am still laughing.
For freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

One Credit Card at a Time
should be renamed Several Credit Cards at a Time!
“If You’re Going To Spend $150 Per Year “Out Of Pocket” On A Credit Card”
When you try to sell the Barclaycard hoping some idiot will click on it and then bang! Here are the Chase card links lol.
I don’t want to win the prize. Just want to keep the spirit of TBB fighting BS alive ๐
You focus on being positive TBB and YOU start ignoring these salesmen…as long as they can make a buck pushing plastic they will NEVER stop!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Loved the spirit of TBB part!
Paul says
I value your eclectic perspective, some of which pertains to The Hobby, but a decent portion of which is associated with an obvious hunger for knowledge. I understand that calling out other bloggers is part of the mission but, though I share your distaste for the predatory credit card merchants, it adds little value. I’m more interested in the “you heard it here first” breaking news and your work in distilling the flood of information in the miles and points “space” into “news you can use”. I also like your approach to aspirational travel; less Maldives, more Iran. Also: My mother’s Greek, a daughter of immigrants, so I enjoy your ties to that country and stories of your connection with your heritage. Took my kids to see their greatgrandmother’s home in Samos.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks a lot for your kind words Paul!
Loved the “hunger for knowledge” part. Wow! I think it describes me in a way, thank you!
I have never been to Samos. Hope the trip was great.
Kevin says
Also never been to Samos, but did enjoy reading about Sambo’s.

I enjoy the of-the-beaten-travel-blog-path trip report links. I never would have come across blogs like Yomadic otherwise. Also, those gifs/pics at the end of your posts are pure gold, don’t listen to any naysayers on that!
Less bots so real humans can attain the glory of being first (Just kidding Scott Castle bot, you are my inspiration!).
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Good one too, especially the bot dig woohooo!
Yomadic leads it tomorrrow #wow
Thank you.
ABC says
Love your BoA CC links. Use them all the time.
You need to add Spencer to the TBB team. And a few more writers so that Spencer won’t make too much money covering the latest sex robot news.
Ways to improve/monetize, perhaps a short weekly summary of travel hacking opportunities/activities.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Got it, thank you.
OMAAT hired a Spencer today! Hmmm…
Maybe one day I give away a sex robot #justkidding

See prior comments I replied about doing trip reports…I will try to add more but don’t hold your breath.
Thank you.
Robert says
Great blog, and I appreciate your honesty regarding honesty in this field and business, unlike other bloggers with a financial motive that fogs anything else they do.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the feedback Robert. Even if this blog was my livelihood…I could not do what the usual suspect bloggers do because I could not see myself in the mirror every morning. Trying to keep it fun, trying to keep it as a hobby…I better stop now before I go on a rant or something ๐
John H. says
I appreciate your review of credit cards since its always good to have a second opinion. Might be better to tone down the negativity about other bloggers. I enjoy your “finale” laughs so please don’t stop those. Also wondered what you charge for doing award travel for others?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thanks for the feedback. These days I don’t have much time to search for awards, I let my wife do it and is doing splendidly! I never charged anything by the way, I could try to help with some ideas perhaps or ask readers to help. The business men bloggers try to talk up how you can travel for free while underplaying the huge challenges in finding awards so they can…hit you up with their award travel booking business ๐
Ok, got it on the negativity. It’s gone in the body of the blog going forward. Got to be positive positive positive #itsweird. As a blog critic, being always positive DOES feel weird!
Ben R says
I’m in like Finn

Aaand,I’d like to see more non-site specific items in the ol’ email list. I do like BlogBuzz, but as has been noted, the hobby has become more less news worthy for the couch hackers amongst us.
TBBTheDude says
The caption Blog Buzz is gone…was getting tired to cut and paste it from the previous day.
It’s all now a giant dump of what eclectic things I find. As you have notice, more and more do not pertain to this hobby anymore, sad!

Ok, I’ll take that as a valid entry…
I don’t know but I am probably never hot. Not well built either lol.

I love the articles where I learn something new, such as the one about the road signs and who gets on them (restaurants, gas stations, etc.) I also like the trip reports, such as Banff, which I haven’t been to since I was in junior high…our vacation spots were Seattle and Radium Hot Springs/Banff when I was younger, or places in between when I played hockey.
Thanks for the contest, TBB!
TBBTheDude says
Thank you for taking the time to comment/enter!
vinay nayak says
Best part about the blog is the eccentricity it adds to my otherwise mundane life…love all those picture links and last but not the least picture/gif at the end. It adds much required chuckle to start the day. Something that I usually skip is the screenshot from your feedly. I have been a reader for couple of years now, and very well educated (by you) on the salesmen out there.
TBBTheDude says
Thanks for the feedback!
No more Feedly screenshots which helps cut down on the time spend here. One day I will make minimum wage…so every little bit helps lol.
Never forget…Entertainment is FIRST on the mission ๐
peachfront says
I like the photo heavy stories such as the Chernobyl story you ran recently. Really I like the “deeper” stories you’ve been finding… Gossip about points etc no longer interests me as much since I no longer collect points but I don’t mind it, since I know it’s an important topic to most readers…
I’m not sure I am subscribed although I tried. Is MC supposed to send a confirmation? Maybe I’m previously subscribed?
TBBTheDude says
Yeah, the message is coming through loud and clear. The bashing and gossiping will go down, see prior comment above.
I think I saw you on the subscriber list. If you are picked to win I will go with it without confirming you are on it due to your honest effort to comply with it ๐
Shonuffharlem says
I love love your blog. But I hate the political comments. Start a seperate political blog. You have very strong opinions and desire to share them. But you know when I want a travel show I turn on travel channel, when I want politics I turn on msnbc/fox News. Channel integrity is important.
TBBTheDude says
I’ll make an effort but it probably won’t work! I am probably pissing off half of potential readers out there but it is not something new me doing not click friendly things.
This is my baby man! How can I not let go some of my beliefs? Just not possible!
Fox News and channel integrity should never be on the same paragraph ๐
imho
TBBTheDude says
Thanks for the feedback!

I find your blog to be entertaining and not as cookie cutter as most of boardingarea and other site aggregates. Really enjoy the trip reports and then all of the eclectic links you post!
TBBTheDude says
Thank you!
Down with cookie cutter!!! #soboring
Randy says
About two years ago, I took a bit of a hiatus from this hobby…I did a thorough email subscription cleanse to minimize seeing the same old bullshit headlines in my inbox. I kept your subscription though, because in addition to calling out other bloggers for their shit, I really appreciate all of the articles that you include (especially the ones from a financial perspective). You make it clear that you appreciate your readers with the effort that you put into finding quality content.
No need to ramp up more trip reports like others have mentioned, unless of course they include more pictures of your mother’s cooking…because damn.
Sorry that I’ve been a read-only subscriber…looks like I need to spend more time in the comments section – is this where the magic happens?
TBBTheDude says
Thank you for taking the time to comment and the feedback.
Are you saying my trip reports are awfully long and boring? It’s okay! I write them from the perspective of one day my kids read them and they show my grandkids what legend their grandpa was ๐
Not sure about magic in the comments but I sure like the sound of that! We even have bots joining! But we are missing Ingy lately, maybe he can’t get out of his basement!
Stephen says
Comment, what is that?
Rocky Mountain High says
I like the honest advice and the calling out of the credit card shills! Also like a lot of the travel articles and the time-lapse videos.
Keep on keepin on’, George!
TBBTheDude says
Will keep on keeping on as long as I can, thanks!
Raj says
I like the links to less publicized travel and hacking posts, I’ve found a lot of great info from them.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Thank you. Those won’t stop. We all need new stuff as the regular bloggers will bore us to death ๐
Helmholtz says
I love the ranting and whining. It’s a source of a stable joy over the months and years — some things change, but TBB’s crusade against the plastic merchants never does!
I think you could use more Ingy. Oh, and I think DoC deserves to be on the like list. Whether or not he links to affiliate blogs, he does right by his own readers with his own content. But it’s your list.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
There will be less of that, I am tired man!
Ingy was an integral part of the TBB entertainment. So, with him abandoning us, we all need to evolve!
Every time DoC links to the Titans is like a knife cutting butter…

Don’t change a thing, I love your blog exactly as it is! I wake up every day with a dreadful feeling that #TBB will have a devaluation! No, not another devaluation! I know you’d do it just to spite everyone and to spit in the faces of the Titans! I can see Rene on FT calling you out! Don’t do it, don’t devalue! The Sunday post will cost twice as many points, no!!!! ๐ .

Lol, really funny. You know, Rene once said he will leave Boarding Area if I ever made it there. Been thinking to go, see him leave and then I come back here again. I am all for improving the world woohoo!
Thanks.

George, you stand for truth and beauty. It comes out in your blog every time I read it. I love that you introduce me to other countries of the world and often the stories come with fantastic photographs, what could be better than that to a guy that wants to travel the world, But knows he doesnโt have the time left in his life to accomplish that. Keep it all coming so I can be educated And inspired on a daily basis. I introduce TBB to just about everyone I come across. No kidding.

Brian,
Thanks a lot, you are too kind.

Other than that, added more blogs to the Feedly list. New count 329
