I think they are just racist, did you see all their execs are white? 🙂 Hey, doing my best to mess this up, please help me. To confirm, the Marriott execs butchers are not even hiding the fact that they can’t wait to enhance kill the SPG brand! Actually, bloggers could not care much, it’s great time to be selling the SPG cards oh yeeeeeeah! Here are the numbers behind the revised Marriott counter offer for Starwood. True hobbyists, you can start back your crying. I am crying with you. Another dark day after a Chinese ray of hope.
Breaking: My sources deep inside the private equity industry tell me, most likely, there will BE a very attractive counteroffer for Starwood very soon! If this comes through, you will finally have a true expert who gets something right. If not, I will join the scores of other “expert” morons who were…wrong…again! SPG is not over until the Chinese sing!

I felt like Mr Smarty pants when UNI was up 12 late as I had picked them in my bracket to go to the sweet 16. Not so smart now, lol! I watched that game and I still can’t believe what I witnessed. A complete meltdown for the ages by UNI. Unreal.

Did you not see that the Marriott counter offer included terms that prevent any further negotiations with the Chinese?
I think they can still come in with another offer, but the break-up fee Starwood would have to pay was raised by $50 million to $450 million.

I hate to defend Lucky, but AA miles are still valuable. Are you going to stop getting them because of devaluation? Doubtful.
