We bring you a Miles & Points beginner guide, get teen first credit card, new niche to blog about swinger resorts, travel on cat trains, go to work with a Doctors Without Borders doctor, fly over Guilin, more hacking crap, barf over an idea for a sex doll sharing service (insert your own WTFs please!), the best photos online and the best beatings delivered with pure joy of the blogs that masquerade as travel “experts” when all they are are online marketing experts specializing on getting newbies over to their blogs and then sell them the dream of flying for “free” and pound them 24/7, 365 with a relentless barrage of hideous credit card selling. I see so much of it it makes me barf so much and helps me lose weight and maintain my sexy physique. You know I do it for the blog groupies…I think I took this opening paragraph too far hey. Enjoy!

Newbies: The Beginner’s Guide to Points and Miles Credit Cards. Good content. Can you imagine the number of affiliate links such post would have if it was posted in one of these blogs?
Last update was 9/5/17. BestOffersPatrol bring you an updated list of best offer travel rewards credit cards available with my links. I feel so dirty posting this line still! No arrows, thanks for the support. Make your clicks count!
Some good thoughts in here: Planning a teen’s first credit card. You should be very careful. My son is not showing travel hacking DNA like his dad. He has the Chase Sapphire Preferred card in his pocket and he is handling that. Some other cards he has I am taking care of them…He wants a free ticket to South Korea. Anytime you want to learn how to search for and book it you know where to find me. I am still waiting, sad! Actually, not sad at all as the glory days of this hobby are long gone. He is better off focusing on his studies and securing another summer internship. Back in Silicon Valley it appears #developing.
In Japan there are more than 150 cat cafes. Wait, there is more. In Japan there is now a cat train. WTF Japan!
I always liked the charity Doctors Without Borders. And this was very interesting: What It’s Like to Work for Doctors Without Borders.
Since we are onto cats today, this went viral: Cat refuses to leave man’s grave in Malaysia. Amazing!

You know the online hacking shit is off the scales when you learn that CCleaner was hacked too! MUST upgrade to version 5.34 NOW!
Everyone wants to get rich in “communist” China these days. After that horrendously stupid bike sharing idea, we now have an even dumber idea: Sex doll sharing service. WTF!!!
The miles and points travel blog space is incredibly crowded! Way too many blogs all posting the same “deals” trying to trick you to click on their affiliate links. We need a new niche out there! And I have one for you aspiring blogger you: Clothing-Optional Resorts. You can be the reviewer and post trip reports. With shocking videos…or maybe not LOL! Nobody wants to read all the super boring trip reports out there, zzzzzzz. Just imagine the clicks and the angles selling credit cards. “How you can get laid and party in _______ (insert resort name) and do it all for freeee”. Anyone, anyone? I want your guest trip report! But I don’t want your shocking video, send it to the travel thought leader woohoo!

One Mile at a Time – United’s Latest “Safety is Global” Video
Can you find a crappier miles blog feature than the Million Mile Secrets Friday interview with new bloggers? Where you get emailed ten questions that have NOT changed for many years and then your “interview” is used to sell more affiliate credit cards while the bloggers get some clicks their way and then kiss their asses for “the opportunity”. Well, yes you can actually! Million Mile Secrets has the small business card interview series. Same exact concept but now selling business cards too! Latest interviewee says “…we just started this month“…Stab me now please!
This miles and points blog space is just a front for selling travel rewards credit cards. Some of these bloggers just breath and wait for any opportunity out there to push their affiliate credit card links for the fat sales commissions! It happens EVERY freaking day! Baby strollers? Metal cards? Even social justice (^$%#*). And if I see another Amex offer I am going to hurl!
And I leave you with this…What if TBB quit?

What? You didn’t like my post on the metal cards? 🙂 Figured that was right up your alley!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I was not in a mental state to read it, way too much metal yesterday.
And now started my day and run into another ridiculous dude, that Sam Huang guy at Top Miles who became an expert in miles sooo quickly he just had to tell everyone so they can travel for freeeeee…
This is just way too much….Thank God the weekend is here so I can detox…
I just read my post today, I think it is a good one I may say so myself.

Based on some insane world records, I actually wrote to them one time with a proposed record attempt in running. They turned me down.

He needs/wants to slice up a share of that reader base with a link back to him someday, more eyes equals more ads equals more revenue. He rushes to be first rather often in hopes the Titans will H/T him. Yet you continue to link to him even as content slides…
Feeding the daily content monster is no easy task, you are amazingly good at it if only you could monetize this bad boy. I wish Best Offers Patrol would get that JB 40K, so I could help man.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
>>>>>>>>>>more eyes equals more ads equals more revenue
Bingo. He chose that route and he is doing a really good job going that route 🙂
No more linking until he stops linking to the “shocking video’ thought leader…
I plan to take two more blogs off my Like list. One for lack of posting and the other for losing his edge since he started a 2nd blog…If I take Doc off…there is not much left, sad!
>>>>>>>>>>>>Feeding the daily content monster is no easy task, you are amazingly good at it if only you could monetize this bad boy.
Thanks. If I stopped feeding it, I could focus more on monetizing this baby. But that would not be best for readers so I keep focusing on it and relying on peanuts. The past 2 months the peanuts have turned to crumbs though and it is more deflating than PM&M is hurting when doing a post without ONE affiliate link inside it! Therefore, the killing of the weekend posts. If 3 straight months of just 10 plastic clicks per month…I will have to do more here I promised my wife. Of course, having the current quality of cards in my links…sure does not help!
I hear you about the JB 40k offer….BestOffersPatrol had to delete the 30k offer, so so sad!
I am thinking about posting this Sunday. Just one picture of a HILARIOUS story, it involves financial porn.
phil says
I wonder if he is making what you think, hard to live off use our “Amazon free music trial link” income. Content is slipping; errors (spelling, grammar, yada yada) frequently occur, uses recycled post but doesn’t make updates, virtually no original content anymore, and now he’s losing TBB referrals…

TBB, too bad about the Prestige. Another question for you which I hope you’ll answer even though I can’t give you a conversion on this one.
When you book a Fairmont room and later on call to apply free night certificates, do you know if you can pick these rates that are the same price but have different benefits attached? For a booking at the Fairmont SF, for example:
DAILY RATE INCLUDES PRIORITY WAITLIST FOR UPGRADE
FROM $459 USD/NIGHT
FULL RATE DESCRIPTION
Expand
FAIRMONT MOMENTS-50USD DAILY CREDIT
FROM $459 USD/NIGHT
FULL RATE DESCRIPTION
Expand
BED AND BREAKFAST – VALUE OF $42 PER PERSON
FROM $489 USD/NIGHT
FULL RATE DESCRIPTION

That does not happen with me as I make sure I book in suites using my suite certs 😉
If you plan to do that too I will book the best rate I can find and usually when you call the hotel they may let you apply it, even though you may not be entitled to as they are supposed to be for the standard Fairmont rooms…One thing I learned is that the individual hotel is a LOT more flexible than the FPC line. Of course, having status helps of course!
Having said that, they may not allow you to do that and get you the rate with the daily credit. My guess.

Room type is what matters over rate. Must be Fairmont room. Slayed it in Mexico by using two free nights, third night free, 30% off, free breakfast. Took two reps to get it booked but RIP Fairmont card.
