Apologies to subscribers. For the last two days, and possibly with this post as well, the MailChimp automated email did not go out as it used to. Not sure what’s up but I am hiring a WordPress consultant to get my site up to speed. Therefore, I had to manually send the daily email out to subscribers. Excuse the formatting and the omission of the actual link to the blog post. This is not a superbly technical operation around here, we focus on the content!
Bookmark milesfeed.com Because TBB says so. You are welcome.
Hotels don’t actually appear to be that scared of Airbnb – yet. Very interesting to read the comments by the hotel CEOs!
Welcome to the land that nobody wants. Fascinating account about Bir Tawil, the last truly unclaimed land on earth: a tiny sliver of Africa ruled by no state, inhabited by no permanent residents and governed by no laws. Some white American dude claimed it to make his daughter a princess. Traveling there is a dangerous adventure by itself. Borders…they are fragile man made things. Wow.
One Man’s Trash: 17 Awesome Flea Markets. I have been to the ones in Buenos Aires and Madrid. Lame blogger question: Which ones have you visited? 🙂
Top Ten List of Things That Are Going Great in America. Don’t believe all the crap out there, do not catastrophize!
A Holy, Mystical Week. I am not a religious person and I am sure if there is a hell…I am taking the Hell Express (anyone remember Eddie Murhpy?). But the way some intense religious practices and some of the structures that have been built have really fascinated me since I was a child. My first travel memory was when my parents made a pilgrimage to Tinos Island in Greece, where many go every August to celebrate the Virgin Mary and ask to be cured of their ills. Some crazy stuff. Anyways, I really enjoyed this link and I hope you enjoy and learn from it too.
Winner of the Sports Photographer of the Year. Amazing work!
What Death Row Inmates Say in Their Last Words. Fascinating. Love, Family, Thank are the most common words.

I canceled Mrs TBB’s Club CarlsonVisa, it was time to let go.
This questions comes up a lot: Should you apply for two SPG cards in the same day?
The pressure to sell only cards you make money on…
I finally booked a room at NYC’s The Plaza…using Mrs. TBB’s last FairmontVisa night before we kill this card too…
And I leave you with this…
Please help bloggers you appreciate & make a positive difference in your life by spreading the word about their blogs, emailing and commenting and using their few $ links, thank you!

Milesfeed is great resource, thank you.
The Plaza! Nicely done. Maybe you will get lucky and Apple will be launching a new product and you can enjoy the sh!t show at ‘da cube across the road while you sip your tea in the pomp room.
Cheers,

MilesFeed looks like a site I had frequented before. PointsBuzz.com. Hmm………….
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I have replaced PointsBuzz with MilesFeed. I will enter MIlesFeed to my “Like” or “Love” Blogs list if they placed TBB on the very top 🙂

They missed Rome. The Sunday flea market there is the best. I bought a fur jacket for 30€ and tons and tons of other great stuff,
TravelBloggerBuzz says
You are right, I have been to the Rome one, it’s great!
ABC says
I have a mixed feeling about Rome. Yes, central tourist area is great. BUT, as you drive around the outskirts of Rome, you realize that the 2000+ year old landscape is littered with prostitutes.
GringoLoco says
You say that as if it were a bad thing? 😉
bluecat says
Yes, if the prostitutes are from 2000 years ago. Hey, the catacombs don’t complain about their tenants.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Lol!

Do set up something when you are in NYC. I’d love to meet you and see others who just love their TBB. I have done the BRT and it was great fun.
