The only criteria is all mine! What I think are quality reads/bookmarks. Feel free to change my mind and help me improve this permanent page, thank you!

BLOGS
REFERENCE
A Wealth of Common Sense – Probably the best investment writer, I don’t know how he does it every day. Must read. It is the closest to graduate to the Blogs I Love but recently he recommended The Points Guy so I changed my mind about that 🙂 Works at RWM, see below.
Memos from Howard Marks – Brilliant investment related writings, he has been doing it for many years. There is a long gap before each one and they are several pages long. And worth it.
The Big Picture – Another old timer, who founded Ritholtz Wealth Management (RWM). And has somehow managed to add all the best bloggers to work at his firm. Amazing what blogging and social media has done for this firm, unprecedented! I will sell out to these guys and not to TPG, lol.
Jason Zweig – Long time writer for the Wall Street Journal. Great writer and investment knowledge. Great books too. Phenomenal behavioral and brain related stuff that impacts finances, which I find fascinating.
Morgan Housel – He writes at the Collaborative Fund now after several years at Motley Fool. Brilliant writing talent, way beyond his years.
Above the Market – Very strong writing with behavioral finance topics mixed in.
Humble Dollar – Jonathan Clements was my favorite WSJ writer for many years. I believe he went to Citibank and now is back at WSJ along with this blog and of course his books. Pure personal finance at its finest.
Priceonomics – Love their posts going deeper into many issues spanning…many areas. And you know I like variety!
Visual Capitalist – LOVE this content!
Abnormal Returns – Has been curating links for a very long time. And a trusted source of good content around the Web.
Currency Converter – This is where I go to see how much my euros are worth. And my Russian rubles too 🙂
Bogleheads – Not an official member but my heart belongs here as I have been a devoted fan/Boglehead and passionate about the passive investment indexing approach. Great forum to ask for advice. For free.
RateBrain – I like this site to see what interest rates I can get at any time.
Guide to State Taxes – You want to compare the tax picture in each state? This is it!
State Tax Agencies – You want links to each state tax agency? This is it!
80 Financial Calculators – There are many calculator sites out there, I like this one.
Devils Financial Dictionary – You know my site has a lot of humor. And this is a brilliantly funny financial directory by Jazon Zweig.
Notes:
The above are in my own humble opinion only of course!
And the patented TBB gif/pic at the end of each post!

Among all the tax links, you forgot Grover Norquist’s Americans FOR tax reform.
How’s that massive tax cut working out for you? $1T in budget deficit and lots of corporate buybacks and we are investing like it didn’t happen. The tax cut paid for itself! How come nobody got the Nobel Prize for trickle down economy?
MileageUpdate says
if you dont cut govt expenditures you are going to reduce the budget deficits. Trump is as bad or worse than them all. I think we all realize that but 99.9% of politicians want to get relected so they will continue to spend your tax dollars at an even higher and higher rate. No one wants to hear their town is gonna lose funding or their freebie is being taken away. Why else would Sanders and Warren be so popular their voters think they are going to get something for free

And chicks for free…..
That’s the way you do it.

Bleed the beast approach has yet to work (30 year of failure). It’s amazing to see those socialist Scandinavian countries spending only what they bring in and debt is only 30-40% of GDP. With that said, the USD is the world’s currency and that makes it far to easy to borrow too much money.
MileageUpdate says
those scandinavian countries have their own issues but sure they do a better job of keeping their trade in check, limit immigration and keep their defense spending in check

Non-medal winning hello from Bologna!
That’s a lot of financial links. I’m going to look at them all though. Thanks for posting that list!

It’s so you can’t hear the reporters’ questions on tv coverage. So whatever is asked, Comrade 45 can then just bloviate on whatever food salad is currently emanating from his Big Mac hole.

It is shocking Sondland has not been fired yet!

anything to take the focus off that S-show of a debate last night. I need to do some math on who is going to give me the most free stuff. So far Im leaning Yang. I like that 1k a month income and wiping out my 200k college debt for my LiberalArts degree.

Jordan and Nunes and Stefanik are beyond embarrassing.
And the Dems can sure do some thinning of the ranks, 17 running for President in less than a year, WTF!

Hey Buzz-
1. What does Schwab get out of buying TB Ameritrade other than volume? Any synergy there for them or the customers.
2. More importantly, how will this impact next year’s Schwab party-er, make that educational gathering-for financial planners? Any chance for getting the Eagles?
3. Looking back, it seems Drew made a very shrewd move. He was hardly ever writing for his blog. Now TPG is paying him to not write for them. Maybe he’s back in the lab cooking up award availability.
