We did a trip to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia about 12 years ago when the Canadian dollar was around $1 USD = $1.50+ CAD. Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland and the Cape Breton peninsula (where you catch the ferry to NF) were both particularly scenic and relatively unspoiled. Gros Morne had nice hiking, fjords and this cool place called the tablelands where the Earth’s inner mantle has been pushed up and exposed. NF felt very much like some of the non-urban areas in Scandinavia. Oh, and in Nova Scotia, I think that I had the best scallops of my life in this little town called Digby on the Bay of Fundy. Ate these huge, hockey puck-sized scallops, fresh off the boat, cooked relatively simply in a butter preparation but perfect! And it was probably like $10-$15 at the time.

This trip sounds great! I should add this area to the bucket list, heard great things about it.

I’ve actually had my hair cut at British Hairways… Sadly now shut, but was on Abbeydale Road, in Sheffield, just a block away from the inlaws…
Oh and third.

Its all about the SEO says
10th! On a funny note, I remember calling out MileValue on his fake alexa rankings based on his visitor counter for each post. Now it looks like he’s completely removed the view counter. Come out of lurking MileValue, I know you are there somewhere.
How the hell does he even get visitors anymore? Past reputation.

SEO rocks, I should have taken a lesson on it…preferably for free lol.

Did first class at the gym, combination of yoga and pilates. I am just not a gym class guy, it’s been years but trying to mix it up you know. Well, I gotta tell you….won’t be doing much rocking and rolling after this torture session WOW!

Spent about 10 days in Newfoundland and loved Gros Morne and the tablelands as well, despite the fact that I managed to break my ankle hiking there. But we thought it was just a sprain so I hobbled around the province for another 5 days before heading to Nova Scotia for more hobbling. Still, it was a super trip. Go.

Another positive one, moving up! But right now I am trying to book a trip to Greece for 4 in June! I have AA on hold and return trip on United, seats are there….almost pulled the trigger tonight but let it go until…tomorrow….I may regret it I know. Time for grandma to see her grandkids…hope it happens…in June…gasp! I could even get Delta miles but darn confiscatory fuel fuelcharges totally changed my mind!
