The 217 People People, Places and Things Trump has Insulted on Twitter: A Complete List. Is that all?
In the 80s there was this DJ in a Detroit radio station named The Electrifying Mojo. He was THE BEST and played really good eclectic stuff. He was a legend. He had these far out intros and used to make up stuff like the Midnight Funk Association and the Mothership etc. Not sure what ever happened to him. I remembered him because that is where I first heard of this Prince dude. He was one of the few DJs Prince ever did an interview with, here is the transcript. He also used to play Kraftwerk, which was just mind boggling for a black DJ in Detroit at the time. Heck, all the techno music Detroit pioneers listened to Mojo! Love you Mojo, where ever you are man! #Respect

(NOT a nomination, I know that would automatically disqualify) I am surprised you didn’t mention the epic mommy blog rant. Link to Nick’s post if you prefer or to the business insider piece, but I think it deserves a share.
Nick @ Personal Finance Digest says
I think George said he wrote his Wed-Fri posts ahead of time since he’s on the road this week?

@Dia, thanks for your post yesterday about that rant. (I don’t agree with the rebuttal post—after all, she has a vested interest in what she says and we all know that, for many writers, it’s all about “the vested interests”)
BTW, I thought you and George were 180 out of sync. So have you come around a little to his way of seeing the blogs, or has he become more of a sensitive guy, or what???
Dia says
Hi Heartland,
My beef with George was that he would let the commenters get completely out of control in the interests of “free speech”. To his and all our credit the community has become much better at self policing.
I think TBB does an important job. I also think it should be about the blog and not the blogger. The borders get muddy on occasion.

Where is the beef?
I am not sure the commenters ever got “out of control” here. On the contrary, it was one hater who went out of his way to say nice things to me…repeatedly.
We are all adults to realize ridiculous comments. Which are ignored. Because…it’s da internet.
I believe very strongly in free speech!
Regarding blog vs. bloggers. Well, that stands a lot of debate lately. It is a medium that we use that, whether we like it or not, we put ourselves out there. Our blogs define us in a sense, who we are and what we stand for. So, it is extremely difficult to NOT pass judgment on a blog and NOT keep it personal. And it should never be a free pass or an excuse.
This is my story and I am sticking to it!
Thanks for the comments!

I see it more as Matt LeBlanc playing “Matt LeBlanc” on Episodes. It’s him, but not really him. Very meta, I know.

I am at a conference in Phoenix having way too much fun.
This post was prescheduled.
I am keeping up with the posts on Feedly and have lots of material to be posting after my return this weekend.
Including that great Mommy blog rant!
@ABC: That was a beautiful link, thanks a lot. I was involved in bringing DEMF to Detroit so many years ago. It was all volunteer run, no tickets, all free. And then that gal smelled the money and, you know. That old aura is back in the past few years. I have attended several of them. So much influential history in Detroit. All this techno stuff was started when 3 guys were bored in Bellevile High School (next to Ann Arbor)…
@Heartland: I think you may be confusing Deal Mommy with Mommy Points? I think me and DM have been on the same wavelengths.
@Dia: I did not miss it, I slotted it as soon as I saw it on Business Insider and LOVED it! I am just way too busy at my conference and pretty much confined to my cell phone so no new updates. All these latest posts were scheduled before I left. What Nick said.
@GringoLoco: Golden, at last!
@smittytabb: I think everyone waits for you to grab the bronze 🙂
Heartland says
@Dia and @TBB: Mea culpa on confusing Deal Mommy with “Miles for Family”. Obviously, that space is crowded!
