Yomadic is back with a new post! It’s all about…Bulgaria.
Gunnar Garfors is the youngest person to visit every country and he did it by age 37. Read more and see his best photos from his travels. Yeah but did he do it for free? If he only had the Chase Sapphire Preferred card lol.
17 Beautifully Abandoned Places. At AFAR. Interesting collection of places here!
Ruins of the World. By AFAR. Well, here is another since we are on the abandoned/decaying track, how about some ruins next!

The US News & World Report released its “Best Travel Rewards Programs” lists. I just wanted to let you know to click away from this crap. No, we are not going to make a blog post about it and waste your time, we VALUE your time!
I have seen a thread in FlyerTalk how Boarding Area has some malware type issues. Reader got this when visiting BA. I don’t have the same issues. But obviously something is happening…actually, this should NOT be happening at all!
I think I will get this book for Frequent Miler for Christmas…

LOL, that book looks more like my kind of red bird than Frequent Miler’s! We were in Tikal 2 years ago, it was amazing!

Whenever I have a question about birds I know where to go 🙂 I just had to post that pic!

So, are you saying Chris Guillebeau is full of shit that he visited every country by age 35? I just find that soooo hard to believe.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Nope I am not saying that, I just repeated what this dude is saying. I believe this guy! I would not believe this Chris guy you know why? Because he pumps whatever credit card pays him 🙂

I am surprised it is so high. You could knock off 180 or so of the 195 quickly – you then have the visa issues to do the tricky ones.
Pretty sure you could do it in a year with a big enough budget.

Nothing surprises me anymore online lately lol
Frequent Miler says
Ooh, looking forward to that Christmas present!

I loved that Yomadic post. We went from Belgrade to Sofia right when he went from Sofia to Belgrade actually. His pictures capture Bulgaria beautifully- and honestly it’s such a hidden-treasure kind of destination.

Been to Bulgaria a few years ago when me and my brother decided to just drive there from our hometown Larisa. But did not make it all the way to Sofia. Interesting country indeed. Sadly, many Greek businesses have relocated there because taxes and regulations are much lower…which, in itself, is a major WTF moment for the economic basket case that is Greece.
