It appears that every week we have yet another hotel brand. This week it is Unbound Collection joining Hyatt. Unbound? Seriously? Are we running out of names or what? Curio us ๐
Some tips on saving on your next car rental. Booking it on southwest.com? Hmm…Never thought of that.
Scary headline! Accor and Chinese Conglomerate Both Consider Carlson Rezidor Takeover. That just…hurts. I could care less actually as long as they don’t mess with my beloved Fairmont Lifetime Platinum Status #fantasy.
Sign up for these food apps and get a bunch of freebies and discounts. I have had MyPanera for ever. I am still looking for that month long free coffee reward! There is something about…Free. You know, like fighting back against the system and…beating it! Or something like that ๐
This is why you will never see someone in this quirky hobby of ours come out and say I got harmed and ruined for life for falling over the marketing pitches in a Titan blog. Embarrassed Americans underreport credit card debt by only $415 billion. Read it and weep.
This is BAD!!! A video of some mind blowing driving in Dubai. Must click!

In Panama, there is Contadora Island, one of about 200 islands commonly known as Pearl Islands. There is an abandoned resort, one supermarket. This is where the Shah of Iran fled after the Iranian revolution. This was rejected by the Frugal Travel Guy editor who yelled out loud “How in the hell are we supposed to sell credit cards with this stuff, come on!”

Loyalty programs are always trying to screw us. Nothing beats Delta at it. But there are others: “Exceptions, exemptions, and exclusions from hotel reward benefits“. Beware, it’s scary out there these days!
Travel Codex keeps improving its award chart search tool. Added ANA and Flying Blue.
The pic in this link is just…wild!
Titans are on a major pumping streak. MMS writes a horrible post even for newbies for Huffington Post and TPG takes his speaking skills to…Georgetown. Hey hook them young, they can control debt so easily these Millennials! You guys are doing it this to help them travel for free, riiiiiight? Riiiight! %$#@(*69

That’s a large portion of their profits. Who said banking was hard?
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Never had an overdraft fee. Actually, I did once and it was no my fault. And I let them have it…until they reversed it ๐

Ramsey on Politics says
Buzz, not so may years ago (during W’s Presidency) I vowed never to vote for any Republican candidate for the rest of my life. BUT, if TRUMP gets the nomination, that will change and I am not kidding. Why?
1. What is the RNC so afraid of? They are attacking Trump, certainly it is not on moral issues, that would be hypocritical of them. So they must be afraid he is going to stop the corruption that is going on within the Party. They see him as threat to their golden goose….special interest, billionaires, corporate lobbyist. Now they trot out Mitt Romney to try and stop Trump? What a joke, Mitt is a slick used car salesman, I hate that guy.
2. Melania is HOT! Ivanka is HOT!
3. Hillary might be the best man for the job, BUT that screeching baritone voice. OY VEY no wonder Bill was always on the hunt for babes.
4. John Kasich, way too normal and qualified for the Republican Party (he would of been great Democratic candidate, along with Joe B.).
5. Trump is NOT Racist! Sure he did fire Dennis Rodman in the Celebrity Apprentice, but Dennis
misspelled Melania’s name in his task. Don’t forget Arsenio Hall who is black beat out Clay Aiken to win Celebrity Apprentice in 2012, no racism there.

#2 oh yes!
This Republican race is unlike anything we have ever seen, wow!
Paul says
No sane person could ever vote for The Fascist Blowhard. Sadly, other than Kasich, zero chance for any of the rest of the Republican whackjob candidates to win either. Never seen a bigger bunch of losers…since the last two Republican Presidential campaigns…
Hillary is going to win by a landslide. Sigh.
I’m ashamed I ever considered myself a Republican. But that was back when Reagan and Bush Sr were around – neither of whom would even be considered a potential Republican candidate today. The Party of Lincoln is now the Party of Angry White Religious Fascists. #contemptible

I agree with you. Last night with the hands & dick size & Little Marco references was a bit too much….wished the camera was stuck on Megyn instead and muted the sound ๐

Best SPG Offer Ever! 35,000 Starpoints For SPG Cards

If you follow a popular blog with direct Amex affiliate links can you please ask them WHY ARE THEY SO FREAKING SILENT ABOUT THIS OFFER HUH? Don’t be a victim, THINK! #browniepointsfortheboss
TBBBreakingNews says
The SPG 35k Affiliate links are out now so all the Titans discovered it suddenly lol.
Anyways, I see the 35k SPG Business Amex also available in TBB’s own links (it says 25k but after u click the 35k offer comes up). Since you all had it multiple times and now ALL Amex cards are available ONCE per lifetime….maybe get your mother in law to apply so I can eat lunch ๐

Glad I waited on the SPG card, but still may pass on it. I have the Crystal Infinite Visa on my to get list and the Arrival+. Maybe I should do a mini Aor. Also, my CSP fee hit, time to convert it to a freedom or fu. My timing in this “hobby” seems to be pretty good, so far. *knocks on wood*
TravelBloggerBuzz says
If you are in the hobby (meaning you can juggle different cards/min spends & never ever carry a cc balance!)…and you never had the SPG cards before and with the Marriott merger coming up.,..it would be hard pressed to make any argument NOT to have them. Has never been 35k before. These ARE still valuable points. If no hotel targets, convert them to AA miles (but late for the 3/22 devaluation now!).

I am sure Trump will fix it in less than 30 minutes as well!

I just checked out TPG’s Georgetown thing and in it, he now claims to be a “Wall St. exec.” In other descriptions he has given of himself, he was a recent college grad grinding away at a long job and making practically nothing. So, which was it? I guess calling yourself a Wall St executive will bring more college kids in to hear you.
GringoLoco says
I thought he was a “fundraiser” for charity?
