First is that secularism was so codified by Attatürk that (Muslim) women wearing the hijab were not allowed to go to university wearing it. Erdoğan has many Muslim supporters from issues like this. Second is how Erdoğan has made healthcare cheap, convenient, and accessible. Make an appt online, usually kept within 5 minutes.
