I love these posts, always so many interesting tidbits to learn, here are a few top picks:
Swearing improves grip strength by 9%, wall sit time by 22%, and plank time by 12%. [Phucking A, lol]
Indian Americans own about half of all motels in the United States. Of them, 70% have the last name Patel. [I knew it!]
Legalization of online sports betting generates an 8% increase in credit card debt among sports betters. The poor are disproportionately affected: low income households spend 32% more on betting than high income households. [Sad]
Men are more likely to order two hamburgers at McDonald’s when they order with a screen. When they order from a human, they tend to order only one. [Last time I entered a McDonalds was BC (Before Covid) to use the restroom]
In the 1990s, then-leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-ll, and current leader Kim Jong-Un got fake Brazilian passports and went to Disneyland in Tokyo (probably). [Can’t wait for this Kim dynasty to end one day…in my lifetime!]
Each additional negative word in a news headline drives 2.3% more clicks. [Stop clicking them!]

I used to use McDonalds bathrooms in Paris before they started locking the doors. I went in once and a homeless guy was living there.nHe has his clothes and other stuff in a small cart.

Never stayed on that SF hotel. And probably not going to as I am kind of taking an extended leave of absence from IHG points. But a reader may have gotten the IHG Premier card with my links, which may be the 2nd cc sale this month which doubles the revenue haul from cc conversions…I feel the momentum changing you guys, I am sure they are having an urgent meeting at TPG HQs to control me lol.
Gained back the two email list subscribers I lost the previous week. At this pace, can’t wait for influencer promotion proposals to come my way woohoo.
Paid daughter $20 to take a video of the Denver Capital One lounge a few days ago, I will post it soon in my YouTube channel. And yes I am deducting it.
It was a great 4th quarter, thank God for the day job. Almost through the quarter/year end rush work….getting there…steadily and surely. I haven’t started the Friday draft post yet so we’ll see.
Go Lions, sorry David. I mean, that was one of those all time amazing performances by our defense playing second and third strings, just blown away. We may see each other in a few weeks though, tough to beat the same NFL team three times in the same year!
