I apologize for this post so early in the month, it was not planned! But the staff of TBB (me) was hit with some major technical difficulties last night in both the desktop and the laptop. All on just a three hour sleep the night before due to the late Delta flight arriving back to Detroit from San Francisco (and the 3 hour jet lag and being on catch up mode all day yesterday!). I had the material for another Buzz post here but the tech Gods just did not cooperate!

Nothing has changed in the past month here, so I am doing a cut and paste from July! Hopefully, we are back on track for Thursday. But the gif/pic is new ๐
This is the monthly post I try to get some support to keep this blog going and not feel deflated when no clicks come my way. It is up to you guys to help small INDEPENDENT bloggers to survive and, why not, even thrive! Well, my blog is far from thriving commercially speaking but that’s okay. Almost five years into this and one day I am going to say enough is enough. Keep me from that day ๐
The big change in my blatant massive monetization (lol) efforts is the addition of the Paypal Donation button.
Other than that, nothing else has changed.
For the latest credit card best offers available with my links please see THIS LIST. <—–Let me know what I missed in it!
Thanks to everyone who has gotten a credit card with my links and made a donation. Thanks to the few who used my referral links too.
Any corrections, suggestions or insults are welcome.
Of course it would not be a TBB post if there was no funny gif/pic…
I appreciate all the support to keep TBB going! I focus on the content here and hardly ever spend time on promoting my site. I rely on you to forward my URL to your family and friends, subscribe and participate in the comments. Thank you!
I get bombarded by crap to promote to readers all the time. I delete them. I only offer links to stuff I use and like myself! I don’t know how other bloggers do it…I mean, promote crap just so they can make some money, boo!

Best VPN! Worked flawlessly in Iran. Based on reader feedback and discussions with mega travelers, this baby just works everywhere, including China. And it is easy to use too, if I can do it you sure can too. Check it out!
Roboform
BEST password manager! I LOVE this program and have been using it for years. Without it I would really not be able to function online! It also acts as a form filler and password generator. Best money I ever spent online! You can check it out for free before you decide to buy HERE.

7 am and the phucking Windows Update is still going, WOW!
15 hours long and going…
I think this is a message it is time to get a new desktop PC. I think these assholes in Seattle are doing this on purpose…

An Apple a day….

I was in a hotel recently, about to check out, when I shut down my laptop and decided to accept the ‘update and shut down’ prompt.
It then launched a 90 minute upgrade. Unfortunately I was checking out and couldn’t shut down my laptop for fear of corrupting it. I had to go the front desk, negotiate a late check out (inconvenient as I had to double back on myself to return to the hotel) and then let the darn thing do its stuff for an hour and a half.

After 5 years, I bought a new MacBook last week. Hooked it up to my back-up drive, and two hours later it was all set-up.
Years ago when we switched to Apple, It took a while to find software for Apple that does what our old PC software did. Very worthwhile investment in time. Few worries about viruses too (so far).

What’s the best hotel point bargain in NYC?
I don’t need access to lemon poppyseed pancakes.

When I started my Windows PC yesterday, it took its time starting because it said it was restoring the previous version of windows. There was a update to be installed after I went to bed the previous night. So you aren’t the only one who had problems with these recent updates.

Update:
The phucking Windows Update is now going…25 hours strong!
I am starting to wonder if it is upgrading from Windows 7 to 10?
At least it has now finished 2 of 2 updating and it is now “Shutting down”.
To Mac fans: Please, I am no mac guy. Used one once and thought we were never meant to be together!
This last desktop PC has been a workhorse. Thought I could squeeze one more year out of it
Amazing life, really!
There will be a post tomorrow.
But this month has been too deflating here and perhaps it is indeed time to move on. At Starbucks early this morning going through Feedly was watching the regular dude with a sign down the stteet who probably made more than me in an hour than I have this month, SAD!
Daughter is 15 today. Went for lunch to score her a free entry at Northside Grill and off for dinner at Yotsuba for sushi!
Pray for my PC ๐
