It was an interesting year.
I was waiting to see you publish the “Adam Ruins Everything” takedown of airline’s frequent flyer programs published a few days ago (Even though it’s “airline news”, none of the titans would dare link to it). Seems pretty spot on, and should be viewed by anyone getting into the game. Pretty funny slam at what I presume to be TPG. Here’s the YouTube link:

I saw it but I stopped watching it after a few seconds because I thought it was way too slick of a production. But I loved the part especially about the credit card marketers. And lots of the info is true for sure. Just not up on the comedic delivery of these two guys…and what the hell is with all the spiked hair and beards? 🙂

The only one of those 10 books I’ve read is the Shane Bauer, that * is * a good one… but how does Fire & Fury miss being on the top 10? It’s hilarious, has a brilliant gimmick (gossip reporter fools vain politician into letting him sit in at the White House), and everything he thought “might” be true from listening in on people’s conversation… was even bigger and more true than a gossip reporter’s deepest dreams as the year spirals out… If there is only one book that lives forever from 2018, it’s that one, even if it was written by a gossip reporter.
I’ve already ordered Washington Black a few days ago but if I order any others, I’ll use your link, I promise…
