I never know what to do with these best of bar/restaurant lists that clearly have some sort of advertising relationship.
Having said that, Bar Benfiddich in Tokyo is really great. Aside from the great drinks, the curmudgeon in me loved seeing the bartender turn away a rowdy group of early 20s westerners even though there was room cause it’s just not the place’s vibe.
I wouldn’t be caught dead in any of those bars. I like mine the divey the better. Yall can keep the $20 cocktails.

It feels weird seeing a “best movies” list because it doesn’t feel like we had an actual movie year.

I only drink $20 cocktails only if they are free. Like at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki at the Happy Hour they had instead of the (closed) lounge 🙂

Daughter’s roommate got Covid so…just mentally prepare for the time every one of us will get it…sick of this pandemic, if only the anti vaxx morons were not endangering us all.
