The Wings and Tigers used to fly in style…..a DC-9! At one point it even had the Little Caesars logo on the tail. But don’t worry, that one was retired, they now use a modern MD81.
Our company has a turboprop that we fly as a shuttle between LAX and our factory. We board at one of the private operators on the south side. The Wings plane is usually parked there when they’re in town. They regularly have the Delta and Air Canada all-biz A320s too. It’s a pretty smart setup. I’ve read they run those planes in an all-biz configuration during the hockey/basketball season, then convert them back to high density for the busy summer travel season, when those sports are off.
