The 100k Ultimate Rewards points signing bonus for the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, arguably the best travel rewards credit card, is going away down to just 50k bonus, boo! I was very surprised to see that write up by Miles to Memories. He attempted to explain the rationale… and came up short.
Me too, and that blog is one that usually is pretty level-headed and realistic, I think. Blogs aren’t solely to blame of course, but they were like a turbo boost on the road to the loophole’s demise.

1. I thought my wife and I invented the word resolutionist. Late again.
2. Marry a sex robot? I’d prefer a plan like Apple’s ‘Get a new IPhone’ where every year or two you trade in for a new model (maybe one with no scuff marks).
3. Citi 50k with no 24 month langauge. A sign banks are coming back? Buzz must be smoking stubs that the troll left in the ashtray at TBB Headquarters. To me it’s more a sign that the reddit kids (those rwscals) are getting better at chasing rogue links.

I hung it right next to my Farrah Fawcett nips popping out poster.
He was my idol and still is, he belongs on the next Mount Rush(to sell)more Monument of Credit Card Salesman. Unfortunately his former blog now is full of post like, THE TOP 10 HYATTS IN THE WORLD TO STAY AT, written by someone who never stayed at any of them, self proclaimed expert and multi-millionaire, Holly. Or some other equally fascinating news breaking investigative journalism like that.

So this is interesting… In March of 2015 I got my companion pass the marriott way. It expired last week, or so I thought… I just got an email congratulating me on earning companion pass, but it doesn’t show that in my account.
