The new Istanbul airport is huuuuuuge!
The new airport, located some 20 miles outside Istanbul on the coast of the Black Sea, will cover 76.5 million square meters (29.5 miles) upon completion — a footprint larger than Manhattan. Its first three runways should be able to serve 100 million passengers annually in 2020, with a target of accommodating as many as 200 million on six runways by 2029.

Still don’t understand why Brits are so excited to go to Qatar and UAE to get some sun. Is it just for that “Gary Leff” aspirational 5-star experience? I know the UK has horrible weather in the winter, but why not go to the Caribbean, the Canary Islands, the Azores, Egypt, the Seychelles, the Maldives or fcuking Thailand? Place with culture, locals and potentially great food.

I just finished redeeming ~2,000,000 HH points for a total of 45 nights (3 rooms x 15 nights) in Hawaiâi, this hobby is still kicking and with all of these Amex cards, you can still squeeze out something out of it. Letâs hope 2019 is as god as 2018. Stay positive, exploit nuances that others donât notice (or write about), rack up miles and points, and travel for really cheap!

Because she was Black. Such Bullshit!
The once great but sadly no longer, NY Times made this look and sound like a racial bias story. Not coincidentally before the election, there are many like this, I might ad.
But as I Flight Attendant I have done this myself dozens of times over my 27 years. IT IS REQUIRED by the airline!!! and the FEDS. You not only have to check that they are a MEDICAL Doctor or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, you have to document their Name and Licence number too and turn in a report at the end of the flight. Can you imagine if a Psychiatrist or some really smart person with a PHD. treated a passenger and the PAX had problems? You would then see stories how incompetent the Airline was. Lawyers delight.
Just another example of the media stirring racial tensions in this country trying to sway politics.
