Super slow, super quiet this weekend. Where is everybody?
The amount of material is so…tiny I am thinking about taking a few days off.
I am typing this from a Starbucks late on Saturday night. Is this blogger’s block, is this what it feels like?
Where did the year go?
I can not believe I made it the whole year without drinking a single soda, potato chips, pop corn and pizza! WOW. High Five Me!
I can’t believe it’s not butter!
I am down to just one Uber credit in my account. I want to pimp it so bad you guys lol.
Starbucks has this game to win Starbucks for life. Receipt prints a code and you enter it online. Anyways, I am looking at the waste basket and I am having visions of diving into Wendy’s dumpsters for those cups again.
Son got accepted into University of Michigan’s College of Engineering. Congrats to him!
I do not believe the North Koreans are behind the Sony hack. I have no data to back it up.
The Detroit Lions made the playoffs, hooray!
Going to New York City & New Jersey for a few days over Christmas. Another business trip planned to San Diego in late January. Other than that no trips planned. This is weird.
I wish Barclays will hurry up and send Mrs. TBB the Arrival card, come on!
I am starting to think that maybe, must maybe, this is the way to market movies as everyone now wants to see “The Interview”.
Birdman is an awesomely acted and directed movie! I think Michael Keaton will win an Oscar for his role.
Things will slow down around here, keeping up the blog reviews in Feedly and producing TBB is insane! But I like it I guess, otherwise why would I still be doing it? Maybe this is an insane question by itself.
I am running out of things to say and need to get going…So here are a few links that would have been on the Monday TBB post…
I should update my Blog Lists one of these days.
Hope you all have a wonderful Holiday season. I wonder if the mega pumpers in this space will take a day off in Christmas…Probably not. Sad!

Second. Theres still a few days left to drink some soda and have some delicious popcorn!
Congrats to your son, as well as to Buzz and Mrs. Buzz.
@ Hoping for a Lions win and a Packers loss to wrap up Division Title so we can all go for a field trip to Lambau Field next Sunday while waiting to host first playoff game in a long long time!
@ tv7: I need to keep my 2014 New Year resolutions, no let up now!
@ Sam: Thanks Sam. Yeah, proud of the kid, he’s doing well so far. That UofC Berkeley option is still out there…waiting. But big weight is off now.

I started my graduate degree at the University of Michigan and fuuuuuck that institution is expensive, $1,100 per credit hour… So I transferred out.
It’s best that you push those links a little harder, at least it’ll be for a good cause as opposed to ugly haircuts for Emily or anal beads for “Lucky”.
Actually U of Michigan may not be too bad…There are still two other schools in the running…in California..to be continued
1) Totally awesome that you’ve been soda and potato chip free all year. Perhaps that will inspire me to do the same.
2) I was all-in for the Starbucks competition- until someone reminded others of the taxes attached to it. Nevermind.
3) Happy dance for Lions!!! 🙂
4) Michael Keaton is a much underrated actor that deserves more acclaim than he has received.
5) Love NYC and therefore jealous.
So, to everyone on this blog-readers alike and George himself- Happy Holidays!
P.S. I dare you to spend a weekend at the PHV. LOL 🙂
What is up with all the smiley faces?? Four?
Perhaps I do need to stop drinking so much soda. (I’m tempted to leave another smiley face in ironic subtext but can’t bring myself to do so.)
Also, Yea!!! 🙂 for your son to be accepted into Michigan!
As to the expense, that’s what scholarships are for, right? 🙂
I substituted soda for wine hehe.
Next project to attack is scholarships. Because we dig FREE money in the TBB household. Free miles and points too!!!
A big congrats to your son and also to his proud parents! Wow! UM engineering is great!
Waiting on UofC Berkeley. If yes, we are going for a campus visit.
Yesterday he said he will give a shot at Stanford too.
I kind of like UofM compared to the two choices above 🙂
Which engineering major?
Not sure yet, leaning towards computer science or something related…

Congrats to your son!
Thanks. Can’t believe I am about to start paying college tuition already!
UoM surely accepts credit cards 🙂
