In Delta’s Frequent-Flier Magic Trick, Not Just Rabbits Disappear at the New York Times. Nice to see the mainstream press get on the bandwagon about the extremely hideous practices by Delta Airlines.
The Obsession by asthejoeflies. This is a fantastic post ranting about…some of us lol. It hits home and you will recognize others with this condition. It could be…you! “Because for The Obsession, people will go to any lengths. For everyone elseβ¦itβs just a hobby.” I really enjoyed reading this. At the end of the day I share what I find interesting to…me!

On Delta Points today:
‘This is why I have stopped collecting SkyMiles and focused my credit card spend on other cards and points that have value.’
Er, OK. Can’t help thinking that this makes it tricky to run a blog called ‘Delta Points’ though ….

U serious? Oh what am I missing. I should visit it again…NOT! Bet going nuts on the Citi Prestige card? π
ABC says
Don’t paint yourself into a corner with your blog name.
It makes you wonder what will happen to AMEX. ~10% of the business will be lost with the Citi Costco deal. And much less money will be spent on their DL cards. Is the big bet on Hilton and SPG on the personal CC side? I assume AMEX will have to come up with a new product.

Amex sent me two $50 checks today. Something about how they screwed up in calculating something about the Pay Over Time feature…no idea! Amex has some serious issues wow!

I know right? Stupid move to have a limiting blog name. It’s also ironic. It’s like flexible points vs non-flexible points. You want a blog name that can stand the test of time. That’s what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket and don’t diversify.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I took several months to come up with a name for my blog…hey, I move slow!

Just returned from Zakynthos. As a visitor you wouldn’t know there was any kind of crises. The Greek people are wonderful and that island is one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever visited. Anyway, I’m glad I didn’t change my plans and I got to visit that place π I highly recommend it. Stay on the west or north coasts though, far less touristy and in my opinion more beautiful. I wouldn’t, however, recommend going in late July as I sweat my *** off, lol.

Love it, thanks! Yeah I thought about making it this summer but mother did not want to join us and did not want to leave her alone. Next time!
Love trip reports from places we don’t read about all the time. They tend not to have Hyatts π
So if you have the time you can put something together as a guest blog post. This goes out to all. Hey L. how about that Antarctica post?
Seth says
Yeah, no Hyatts in Zakynthos, lol. They have a “5 star” hotel on the west coast that we stayed in. It was fine for us but you can bet your stars that Lucky would throw a fit about it. I would rate it a 3.5 star, 4 star at best. But I only paid $130/night with my Arrival points so I can’t complain one bit and was actually a great location for us.
If I were to write something, what program would I use? I don’t know sht about blogging….Not sure if I have time right now but I may actually consider it. In the meantime I’ll think about how I can fill an 18-part trip report. Just kidding. lol.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Nice score with the Arrival points.
Use MS Word π How you scored the trip. Some pics from the trip with a little blurb on them will be nice. I understand the time factor…Let me repeat, oh boy do I understand the time factor…it takes me years to put them together lol.

As always, an interesting post.
