Going to try to keep this short.
Here we go again: IHG Pointbreaks hotels to August 31, 2019 list. Probably not that many left. There were not one but two Ann Arbor properties during the Art Fair DO…which is/was something very rare.
The Official, New British Airways Avios Redemption List – Post Devaluation.
Bloggers are now selling new and “amazing” Amex Delta credit card offers offering up to 80k Delta Skymiles. This blog appreciates it a lot if you use our links, thanks. And lets move on. Not going to make a fool of myself pumping them up like they do! Maybe this is why this blog lacks conversions, sad lol!
I like blog posts about obscure locations: Oscar Niemeyer in Algeria: Modernism in the Maghreb.
And speaking about obscure: Transnistria – Celebrating Independence Day in Country That Doesn’t Exist, Again.
And this mountain area is about an hour from where I am right now typing this blog post. 72 Hours in Pelion.
And more backing the Democratic party most likely too. What America will look like in 2040: Older, less white, less religious.
The answer is sadly yes! Does aging makes us more susceptible to financial scams? And the specific example cited is incredibly sad.
Mega lol case: Can a man earn a living on sperm donation alone? This guy did. Listening to Michael Jackson’s “Beat it” in the background 🙂
Amazing: The Incredible Ice Formations of Lake Baikal.
35 Amazing Embassies Around The World. Some amazing buildings.
When bloggers urge readers to use Giftcardmall or other sites to buy gift cards to do MS and then they discover their data was compromised and deal with lots of heartache and loss of time to deal with it…maybe they should tell these bloggers to get lost or…sue them! Yeah, good luck with that.
Just when you thought the American Express cards can not get any worse….they announced no more Priority Pass lounges entry with the Amex linked PP cards.
Bloggers reported “news” that American Airlines will also go down the path of dynamic award pricing. Exsqueeze me? It would be real news if they had said that the airline will not go down this path. It is about money you guys, not loyalty anymore.
And I leave you with this…

Thanks for the age / vulnerability piece. The topics raised are good to put on the table. As people have fewer children to watch over them things are likely to get worse.

Regarding the Axios piece about the US in 2040, “An American child born in the U.S. will be expected to live to 83 years old, according to UN projections — 5 years longer than today’s life expectancy at birth.”
I doubt it! Life expectancy is currently decreasing for the 3 year in a row.
More importantly, healthcare is now 20% of the economy. Will it be 30 or 40% in 2040?

A 5% tariff on Mexican goods will make sure that there’s still a white majority in 2040…..

Buzz-
In college I donated blood every couple of weeks for money.
If I only knew then what I know now.
Carl Pietrantonio says
I think the new restrictions on AMEX PP cards is just to the restaurants and such that PP has been adding, not all of the lounges.
Good stuff today as always! That senior article is a tad scary!
